For this week, ziggedzag, wants to see the 2009 Audi R8, raging out the Ring.

CAR: '09 Audi R8 5.2 Quattro (no race modified)
LOCATION: Nürburgring Nordschleife

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.

• Only one entry per user allowed. It must be that user own work and never used in another competition;
• Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
• Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text;
• Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly;
• Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview. We recommend you to link either to it's full size;
• Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored;
• Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image
• It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr;
• Only the best 20 entries will get through poll;
• Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
  It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

• No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

Brief Notification​

Just to let everyone know, the CCCL needs a new HOST. So, if you have time and interest in hosting a competition, please, send me a P.M. stating your interest.

Some of the requirements include the knowledgement of the site rules (AUP) and a nuance of how the Photomode Competitions operate. Also some knowledge of Photoshop or any other image editing program, for banners treatment, is recommended (Photoshop is preferable).

You can borrow it from someone right? If I havent got it already, I surely need to buy one myself. Or I can send you one over if it costs under 1 million.

I'm happy with the theme, as I took a photomode practice run on the Nordschleife this weekend. It was with a Spyker though, but it sure gave me some nice ideas.

The bad thing, I only got to Hocheichen, decided I already had enough moments to practice with and I spent about 3 hours taking shots on that part. And that was only less then 1/4th of the total distance of the entire Nordschleife

The old R8 is available in Arcade mode, the '09 one isn't. I don't know if there are any differences but I don't have an '09 model and given how tight PD are with credits I've got to save as much as I can!

Well, the first P.M. had both the 4.2 ('07) and 5.2 ('09) versions of the Audi R8, but since this is the CCCL Competition, and both are technically different cars (despite the resemblances), I asked which one of both would stay and the '09 5.2 version was the answer.

About the track, again, since this is the CCCL, only the Nordschleife can be used.

Hey Mog - I do owe you a gift car this week, and the prize was originally an FD RX-7, so I don't mind upgrading it if you'd like the V10 R8. Just let me know which colour .

Hmmm, that's not a bad idea actually, especially considering I've also got plenty of RX7s! (What was the post about when you said 'Prize cars from GT3' BTW?)

I'll take one in a nice dark colour then. Black if nothing interesting is available, I'm running B-Spec right now so I can't check the colour choices!

The original idea was to hand out an RX-7 and NA Miata in special colours that were only available as prizes in GT3 (but are other regular Mazda colours). A Sparkle Green RX-7, and an Evolution Orange Miata

Question: Okay, the '09 5.2 FSI is the "CC", would the Chrome Line version be allowed (it's pretty much the '09 model with some PD love)
