Wow the "Why does it have to be this/Can't it be this"-to-Posted Photos ratio is like 7:1

So can I use the one in Arcade Mode now ?
No.

Sorry guys, I'm out of town on vacation so my responses will be limited this week. As far as I'm concerned any production R8 is fine, as long as it isn't race modified. I didn't think about the '09 not being accessible in the arcade version, or I would have narrowed it down to the '07. Looking forward to the pics, and good luck to everyone.

I know it's your theme, but as I said in my P.M. to you and earlier in this thread, since this is the CCCL, only one car model is allowed. I know the '07 Audi R8 and the '09 R8 have some resemblances, but they are technically a different car.

It's not the same but as a wider example, let's take the Skylines. There are different models and I agree most look quite different, but in a CCCL, one can't just say the car for the theme is a Nissan Skyline - that would range from the older ones to the new one. Exact date of production and model of the car is required in order to make this a certain car that everyone SHOULD and have to use.

Either the competition stays strict to it's matrix or exceptions will have to be made for all cars, which everyone knows, exceptions tend to be abused and end in a big mess. At least, this is my view of this competition and I hope I could get my point across, feel free to disagree.

So we're going with the R8 5.2 FSI quattro? I have the perfect picture for this if so.

I was wondering what CCCL stood for. I would've joined this competition sooner if I had known.

@Nicknamealguem
I totally agree with the terms and rules you have stated so for all these reasons that you have said I do have more than one Audi R8 in my initial entry .... I then went and played back the replay to discover the 'blurry' one is an '07 so I will delete it forthwith to make sure I'm not disqualified.

New submission to follow soon.

@Ru-fus
Your loss.... I offered one up earlier to loan. Still available this evening when I get off work to someone who'll look after it whilst thrashing it round the 'ring.

no worries dude, i would have eventually bought one anyway...just hoped later rather than sooner, done a small bit of tuning also, so will be having a blast on the ring later with it :)

Did you just go onto my PS3 and steal my shot?!
Haha, a carbon copy of the one I was going to enter...back to the drawing board!

I'll have to tell my ninja's to be more discreet next time :sly:

Wow, i see alot of photo realism shoots here. :drool:
I'm going for the different approach. :D

V10 Blacked

Looks more tasty in large. :P

This is probably the best shot I have ever taken in my opinion. The full size looks even better.

Awesome attitude. You really captured the ethos of the car with this shot, the crease running from the top of the headlight over the wheel arch is my favourite part as the line slowly fades to a shadowed peak. If I may offer one piece of constructive criticism; the focus could be better. If the focus was really sharp on the headlight it would both create a better feature to the photo and as the headlights are some of the more amazingly modeled parts of the game they would gleam like precious stones. Still - a lovely photo - if a Canucks opinion means anything to you.

ya, the focus is the one thing that keeps bugging me but i realized it after the fact.

edit: It's blurred because its motion blur.
