First GT1 slot in North America (6PM EST). In door #8 in an all low-A/S lobby with 185 points up for grabs.

Qualifying went really well. I posted a 1:53.368, which was about a 1/2 second faster than the best I'd run in Free Practice. That landed me in pole! Just like Saturday.

I got off to a good start, but didn't hold the lead for long. I made a bungling run over and down the hill. P2 got by me at T6. Down to P2. Lost another position there on lap 2. Tried to close the gap, but a couple of penalties dropped me out of the slipstream. Drove it out to a P3 finish. Just like Saturday.

That got me 170 points and a DR bump. Can't complain about a podium finish. That'll do for tonight.

That wraps up my Nations season. I'm going away for a couple weeks starting Friday, so I'll be missing the final round. And if there is a Manu Cup season coming right after this, I expect I'll be missing that, too. Oh, well.

Good luck to everybody who is going to Grand Valley on Saturday! I'll be racing vicariously through your race reports. Make'em some bangers!

I have to say this was the worst of the 4 races, no thanks to PD making bad timeslots in my region compared to the US side.

I foolishly bought 2 more cappucinos not realising the restrictions in place for engine swaps and widebodies, so doofus lol. My green SH suzuki capa has an Rx7 swap in it lol.

I tried to get into the EMEA 3pm slot, and was doing ok. I had a good qualifier and was just about to start the race and then halfway thru lap, I got a phone call and had to quit to deal with some serious work issue. That took forever to resolve, so I have forfieted this race and not sure until I log on today how badly it affects me, but oh well. This was a low CS lobby so could have done ok. Now gotta grind to back up to B rank in the dailies again.

Thanks PD for bombing that round, heres hoping I fair better at the X2019 one in round 4. They really need to find a new car for those peak cup races, the X2019 is too old now. Come on Red bull!

Onwards and upwards!

Looks like the deltas between the RS, RM, and RH tires are basically one second on the dot (at least after five laps of each). I'll probably have to lean on a streamer or one of y'all to see what the best strat is, seeing how long the RS and RMs will last.

The good news is the car feels good, much better than it did for the TT here some weeks back.

The physics change took some getting used to but I like the way the new F1 car handles. It demands respect under acceleration. Made a L
livvery so shes Nations ready, in exhibition season 2? A quick hotlap of Nurb 24 was the perfect place to test things out. Did the Monza time trial this morning, and I'm about 2 tenths off gold. Will go back to it after spending more time with this stunner elsewhere for a few more days. We need bonding time.

I'll be doing some testing but my instinct is to say that running the soft tyre for as long as possible is the best start for anyone who isn't A+.
