Talyn was selected as the Judge's Choice winner last week, and he decided that this week ought to be a Graphics Week.

Talyn also took out the public vote, and the theme he has selected is Top Gear Magazine Cover!

Further explanation of theme, which is chosen by Week 35 Winner, Talyn:

As the photographer/designer you have complete freedom to tackle this challenge as you see fit. Contestants could photo manipulate the cast of Top Gear into a GT5 scene or vice-versa. The cover could simply include an awesome photo from GT5 with the magazine title. The choice is yours!

And remember... be creative and have fun!

  • Photoshop or another image editing program MUST be used.
  • Each entry must have some part from a Photomode picture from Gran Turismo 5.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
  • Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
  • Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
  • When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, linked to the full-sizer.
  • No full-size images posted in thread; your entry will be ignored.
  • A preview image is not only allowed, but encouraged! However, preview images can
    not exceed 500 pixels in either direction. This includes borders or drop shadow effects.
  • Winner of the public vote gets to choose the theme for the following week.
  • Public vote winners also get to select the top 12 entries for the poll the following week.
  • When selecting the top 12 entries the following week, the theme chooser will also select a
    "Judge's Choice" winner, the entry which they feel has best captured the theme.
  • The Judge's Choice winner gets to choose whether the following week will be either a
    Graphics Week or a Manipulation Week.
  • A graphics week will be primarily graphic design and layout based, for example magazine
    covers, or movie posters.
  • A manipulation week will be primarily based on photo manipulation, for example creating
    race cars in game, or making multi-car composites.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!

Being a Photoshop competition, there are no limits on editing. Use every tool at your disposal to
create the desired effect. Feel free to utilise HDR techniques, photo stitching, whatever you like!
Your only real restriction is that you must use some part of a GT5 Photomode image!
The main thing to remember is to be creative and have fun!

It only actually took 3 hours, I'm still a relative newbie at the editing. Also it isn't exactly spot on but i'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
 
I have 2 concept images in my mind but it is annoying how i can't make them like this in GT5

I really enjoyed entering last weeks competition, so I found time to take part in this one as well :sly: Being a subscriber myself, I thought I would do a subscribers edition :) Hope you like it​

Y0u need to see these rules:

I think it comes down to what one would you actually buy if all were in a magazine rack.

I'd buy them all personally lol

I can't even read anything on yours because your full size is the same as your preview. I still can't find it even though you said it's there.

Just because he also used the X2011 doesn't mean he copied you. If I had gotten around to making an entry I would have included it as well because it makes sense to.

Overall his is completely different than yours. So he really isn't copying anything. You both just had the same idea of using the X2011.

Also, not to be rude, but yours seems a bit cluttered, his is clean. I think you tried to have too much happening on it. I like his better. Sorry.

How is Full size the same as previews??? you must be using a budget monitor. I on the other hand use an HDTV a good decent one and I see the WHOLE cover when I full Size.

P.s Cluttered? if you GOOGLE Magazine Covers, and look at the results. You will find that they are all cluttured.

Erndog2k is right.
It took a little time until I found the strange Imageshack tool for enlargement.
That's sort of annoying 👎
 
@ Erndog2K aka Vintage_Green, this is a competition that often takes people a fair amount of time to put together an entry and it is not that uncommon to have been working on an entry for a couple of days only to have someone else post something very similar before you've finished yours and it can look as though you've copied each other when in fact you've just both had the same idea. It is not a good idea to go around accusing people of copying or cheating or whatever really for the most part it just makes you look bad and gives you a bad rep and then nobody takes you seriously in the end.
It isn't very easy to get to your fullsize image - Imageshack is not very user-friendly in that regard. My only criticism with yours is the choice of font - which to me doesn't suit well at all - should be easy to fix though.
