Apologies for the delay folks - though surely some people must realize just posting about their impatience isn't going to speed it up .

The poll is almost equally split between GT4 vets, and people who've joined up during GT5 and shown some serious skill. Just an observation. TW had a hard time picking 15... we're all going to have a hard time voting for just one!

Why didn't my entry make the poll:

Not that I know why it didn't make it, but I would not have picked it either. You really seem to be having this style of shot a lot lately where there is just a little sliver of car visible and everything else is dark and black. I just don't think it's an attractive style. It looks cool, but I just get the idea of "What is it?". There just isn't enough to look at and it's just too abstract.

@ BMX, you should have made it dude! Yours was better than mine. 👍

And I'd like to make a suggestion, and maybe this needs to go into the general discussion thread, but I am tired of people using flickr for their pictures. I want a direct link to the image where the image is the only thing on the page and not the flickr screen. I then have to click three times to view all sizes, then right click the image to view the image. Like for bmxmitch, I'd much rather your image linked to here instead of here. Know what I mean?

I am one of the users of the arrangements you oppose, I guess I could do it the way as you suggest, but as so few look at the full pics. I find it more comfortable to arrange it like as you suggest. But I on my hand, I have no problem clicking two more times than for everyone else.

I use Flickr and its extremely easy to link to to a direct full size version... I understand some peoples frustration from my occassions as judge and trying several routes to get the image required.
Willing to give some help on this to anyone wants it via a PM 👍

BTW I agree with Apperosio and others .... Its a fair comment to say your surprised at not making the poll but its not that cool to expect the "right" to be there, I think its best to PM to get the feedback you need.

Honestly I wasn't very happy with my entry. (the blue/white stripes Viper GTS)

I didn't get the colour quite right, and the recolouration caused some artifacting that I tried to hide by giving a shrunken full size view.



I liked my idea, but I wasn't satisfied with the execution. It just makes me wish polyphony made that colour available for the GTS

EDIT: I also don't like the flicker links. Can people please use the DIRECT links?

I like GTuned's entry, but shouldn't it be not allowed? The preview doesn't have the signature that the full size has. I thought the preview had to be exactly the same as full size?

I hate the border. The shot is a little boring, it looks out of focus, and the blur looks pixely.
