TBH, I don't find any of your pictures good enough to be in the poll, which may be why no one is offering to help.

I dont want to start an argument, im just looking for help, i dont mean to offend anyone when i say this (sorry if i do not my intention) obviously there are those who will agree with me and those who will disagree but i genuinely struggle to see how in all honesty you could say that the picture i posted up isnt better than any of the pictures in the poll.
Again im not looking for an arguement so sorry if you disagree, lets agree to disagree.
The question of a response from a judge still stands.

I think the one thing I feel I can say right now without starting a feud is my own feedback. I think it would have benefited from less exposure or just a darker background. I think the color transition was a nice idea, but it wasn't properly focused or presented, the latter again being because of the distracting background. And the car seems so giant. There's a pole in the upper left, and when you compare the sizes, it's just out of whack. Definitely should have been zoomed out more and less centered.

I understand where you're coming from with thinking it deserves to be in the pole, as most people often think about their pics. But sometimes you need to look through the thread and look at others' pictures, the effects they use, and find your favorite, then go back to your own and find what you liked that you could incorporate into your own. You get to change it one time, so don't be afraid to use it.

Oh dear...

For future reference (and perhaps maybe it needs to be put specifically into the OP each week) - Exif data does not automatically disqualify an entry. Using an editing program to resize the image is allowable, and can be the source of a "false positive". If you're unsure of an image's eligibility, either ask the member to post the original straight-from-PS3 image, or ask me to ask them to. Typically, the watermark is the easiest tell, but we're all human, and edited shots can slip by.

cphbullet - While your entry was still not quite to the proper guidelines (wrapping the URL tag around the IMG tag makes poll creation much easier, and the text should be red), it wouldn't have been removed from the poll had DarkR selected it. I don't speak for him, and therefore can't give his reasons for why it wasn't chosen, but I can say that personally, I feel a more balanced exposure and moving the camera away from the car would've worked better.

Thank you for the feedback thats what i was looking for, as the photomod moderator can you see anyway around the issue im having of linking the fullsize image to the thumbnail?

If you managed to get the rocks in focus as well as the car is, and with the road turning out to be a bit more flashy with speed, you'd be in the poll.

First thing is, if you posted your entry like that by exceeding 500 pixels horizontally or vertically and not embedding a link to the larger image in the preview, it still would definitely not be eligible.
