CLOSED: Secret Santa Competition Week 14

Further explaination of the theme as given by Zerox.

"This time, i'm looking forward for PD's premium creation cars. Yes, that unreal one that didn't
make it on the road for real. Apart from GTbyCitroen, that is. Well, time to get it real. Good Luck"


Cars: X2010(Any type), Gran Turismo 350Z RS, Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car,
GTbyCitroen (Road Car, Concept, Race Car).
Locations: Any.
Phototravel: Yes.
Unique Restrictions: No miniature and partial colour filter.

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have questions, send me a Private Message.

This Thread will answer many possible questions you may have.

• Entries for the competition this week must be sent to the Judge ZEROX Via
  Private Message and not posted in this thread, any pics posted in this thread will not be
  considered for the poll.
• Your PM must consist of a preview image no bigger than 500px at the largest side with a
  direct link to the full size image.
• Your first entry will be your last, you will not be allowed to change your entry so be happy
  with it.
• One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a competition.
• Do not use a photo from your Gallery or post your photo shoot in your Gallery until after
  the competition (and poll if you made it) has closed.
• Preview images can not exceed 500 pixels in either direction.
• A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
• Winner chooses the following week's theme and becomes Judge for that week.
• Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
• The Judge will select the top 10 entries and PM to the Host for the poll.
• The poll entries will then all be hosted by me so that links cannot be traced to the owner
  of the photo.
• The Host may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
  It's recommended to save the original image (preferably in-game) until week's ends.
• It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.

• No post-GT5 editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed.

If you did then that kinda blows away the "Secret" part of the comp doesn't it?
You've basically disqualified that shot. Been ok if you did'nt mention what car and filter.

EX:
What car you want sir, however I can't show you the car or the color????

The Car's are already specified above so it's not that much a secret.
Also I didn't explain every detail, just what car out of the list I chose.
Then what filter out of the two not allowed, I chose. Also no secret.
The only secret here is your actual physical photo, in it's entirety.

My picture I was aiming for just didn't work under other filters so this is why I asked.

@ Vintage_Green - Nevertheless, ZEROX has specified no Miniature or Partial Filter photos so if your shot uses either of those then it can't be used this week. If you think it's a really great shot just tuck it away for now - you never know when you might be able to use it another week.

uhm, what? I'm pretty sure, no I am sure, I can point your Entry out if I see the Top15! It maybe would've been the only one with partial color in the poll (if that would have ever happened) so it would be easy to spot.

Also, why won't you just post it here?

Question: "Can I use partial colour?" would have sufficed.

Answer "no" then move on
Answer "yes" then everyone would've known your entry. Even if someone else (unlikely btw) did the same then theirs would've been compromised.

How does that not make sense?

Vintage_Green, no-one's forcing you to take part. CCS7 is a very talented GT photographer. Most people on here aren't unbelievably smug. People are nice, friendly, humble. I do not mean to be mean (), but you are pretty wrong about smug-ness invading GTP's Photomode Forums.

@Vintage_Green, I have seen a number of threads you have posted in and it seems to me that when folks respond to whatever it is you've posted you trends to jump on the defensive very quickly and can be rather...blunt or abrupt. As has been said, most of the people here are helpful and considerate but when presented with an attitude will respond with what you deem "smug". Instead of assuming everyone is out to ruin your day just respond normally. You won't always be right and neither will they but starting a fight every time you don't see eye to eye doesn't work for anyone.

Apologies on my part if I (un-intentionaly) did anything to enflame the discussion. I was genuinely trying to help someone from making the mistake of revealing if not all then some parts of what was supposed to be a 'Secret' entry

Lesson learned and time to move on.

Back on topic should have an entry through in the next 12 hrs
