"I have to confess I'm not a big fan of the pick-up trucks in GT5 and very little is seen of them
on these forums so I need your shots to convince me otherwise. With all the trucks* being
Standards you'll need to be on your best "photomode" game."

CARS: Pickup trucks only
LOCATIONS: Any
PHOTOTRAVEL: ...Negative!
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado & SSR, Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message.
This Thread has everything you need to know.

• No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.
• Only one entry per user allowed. It must be that user own work and never used in another competition;
• Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
• Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text and indicate which side during H2H weeks;
• Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly;
• Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview. We recommend you to link either to it's full size;
• Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored;
• Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image
• It's recommend you to use a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr;
• Only the best 30 entries will get through the Classic Poll Style; and best 15 for each poll in a H2H Poll Style.
• In H2H weeks, entries must choose a "team", and the best from each poll faces off;
• Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
  It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

If I wasn't already putting my B-Spec Bobs to work for another eight hours, I'd get started on this right away!

Question - no Chevy SSR allowed?
(This is my favorite of the pickup trucks in GT5, and is quite possibly the best looking of the lot.)

I'd say SSR should be OK since it's eligible for the Sport Truck races. But you may want just play it safe and choose one of the ones in the first post.

Not gonna worry about it at the moment. Hopefully CCShaft will see this, ponder the matter, and make a ruling.
I'm sure I can come up with something using either the Silverado or F-150 Lightning if I have to, but would love to put the SSR on display if given the opportunity.
(I love - as much as a human can or should love a machine - that truck so much in real life, I have one in each of the stock colors available in the game, but an extra one I repainted in "Reflex Purple" to best approximate a 2004 model I saw at a local Chevy dealer years ago, back when my credit was adequate enough to purchase a new vehicle. In my humble opinion, it's a shame that Chevy no longer makes it, and it's a shame it didn't get the Premium treatment by PD to show-off the convertible hard-top...)

^ Lol.... Just as a confirmation for everyone although the Midget happens to be comsidered in the entry req in the A-spec Sports Truck event I agree with Dennis and should for the purposes of this comp be considered a mistake. There might be some affection for it but the ones listed in the OP should keep things on the same level. 👍

anyways this comp is hard. It isn't easy to find an angle of a pick up truck that actually looks good (and doesnt look like an advertisement)
