  • Add a personal signature.

What you may do to a photo:
  • Crop and/or resize an image.

First of all, welcome to the GT5 Photomode Tournament. I hope you enjoy this competition.

I’ll have to state that, vigilance in this competition will be high - going against the spirit of the competition (i.e. cheating, swaying polls, creating multiple accounts to vote) will result in immediate disqualification. Please, keep it clean.

There will be a Special Round after the Final, with both side winners facing each other.
Also, the qualifier image will have a bigger effect throughout the tournament, as it will be the primary tie break factor, the second being your tournament yield and third being the old used host vote.

There will be prizes for both PMC and 2.0 sides:

Prize List - PMC/2.0:

Third Place:
Hall of Fame representation;

Second Place:
Hall of Fame representation;

First Place:
Hall of Fame representation;
Tournament images will be featured as banners for a next tournament;
Probably more to come

Oh the dilema of which side to take! I've always gone 2.0 and come 2nd last Tournament but I think I'll struggle to find the time this Tournament to commit fully to the editing. But PMC is tough, you really have to take great photos as you can't rely on a little editing to get you by. Going to have to think this one through. :confused:

I'm pretty much in the same boat Nato. Not that much time lately, but participating is a must! :D

But I think the PMC side takes nearly as long as the 2.0 side. You just waste much more time in Photomode till you're happy. With editing you can easily make an average shot to an awesome one. PMC needs one perfect shot strait from GT5! That could be even harder than edit over one...IMO ;)

I can't decide either, i want to enter the 2.0 but part of me is thinking i shouldn't until ive at least achieved what i can in the PMC side

I'm going to finally enter this for the first time. I'm intrigued to see how far I can go and it gives me a good excuse to get the mojo back. :)

Just a thought, should we submit 'lightbox' versions of our photos or just the standard version? Im just asking because of all the recent hassle with lightbox.

Exactly what he said. Might as well give it a shot.

I would submit them with a link to the largest size image as viewed under "view all sizes."

I couldn't get lightbox images to load on a number of occasions this week, im not sure but i think a few others had this issue to.

Oh, I thought you meant dropbox. Well, as long as I get access to the full size image, it's cool by me. ;)

Edit: Just submitted my entry to myself, going to start dealing with the entries
