Competing with Moglet feels like boxing vs Klitschko – no matter which of them :scared:

This should be a good one for me as the last two galleries I've shot have been on a black and white theme :) Weirdly this h2h made me think of a musical I saw when at school lol

I am most looking forward to SlipZtrEm vs Zerox 'Abstract' theme. I expect to see a couple of jaw-dropping pics. :D

I assume Cote d' Azur is considered a French track?

edit: The track selection screen has a French flag :dunce: Though I have other track ideas in mind :mischievous:

Oooh, Abstract. This should be interesting; I've actually been doing a lot of them in real life lately, but it's actually quite a bit harder to pull off interestingly-composed ones in GT.

Glad the GT1 car and track lists came in handy for my picked theme. It's a personal favourite so I'm looking forward to that. There's quite a lot of matchups I'm excited for though, can't wait until next week :D
 
That will be hard form me. First, ceiling_fan, realy hard competitor. Second, french theme, guess which cars I hate most? :D (I'm driving Pug 206 IRL).
As for Cote track judges should decide. I don't have idea which track I'd use but if it is considered as frech track I could give it a go.

btw,
due the fact that my (and stpattys) theme is GT1, are we only allowed to use standard cars?
Because the Toms Supra was in GT1 too. (As I remember) And its premium in GT5!
Also some other Japanese cars.....


@stpatty: But if you say you will only use standards too, then its Ok. Only to make it fair! :)

I saw I was up against you and I thought 'Oh 🤬" But then again that is what the whole tournament is about - great competition. Good luck with the backfire - it's a lot of fun once you get a handle on it. Cheers.
 
Totally sucked I had some horrible weeks behind, I couldnt even submit an entry to the qualifiers, but hey, that also has an advantage, now I can enjoy the tournament without any kind of tension :P

All great matches, nice themes and its good to see my theme (buildings) got picked too in a match of two great competitors. Really curious to that outcome. And the Raphaele vs Moglet match is exciting. Lets not deny it, Moglet is the favorite here, but from previous competition entries I feel Raphaele is one of the few that can actually knock Mog out :D.

Can't wait to see the pictures of these battles.
 
Hey all.
There are some clarifications I seem to need to address:

2.0 competitors can add a signature if they wish to, since we already know who the entrants are. Since I forgot to change the rule, I'll be asking if 2.0 entrants who already submitted if they want to add one. The entry itself cannot be changed though.

Now in another note, well, it's good that you guys want to keep it fair, but I want to remember that in the end, this is a competition. Things like saying which specific car will be used (unless specified in theme) may work against the competitor.
In case of the Gran Turismo 1 theme, any car that was available in GT1 can be used, being it premium or standard.
In case of the French Theme, I can't actually confirm if Cote d'Azure has a French flag, but as far as I am aware, Cote d'Azure is based in Monaco.

Yeh its gonna be fun mate. I've taken a gazzilion photos but only managed to get backfire twice. Actually tried to capture it today & have totally surprised myself :)
 
Round 1! Should be fun! I'm against Zambuca... who gives me far too much credit, I've noticed that he is really rather good himself! Interesting theme... Glad I haven't got one of the scenery or karting themes or something like that :lol:

I just checked all my cars.
And it appears that I only have one standard car that was in GT1. The most models I have are newer than I expected.
So I think I'll buy some new Premium models.
I may enter a standard car, but most likely it will be a premium version. Just to let you know stpatty! ;)

Big respect and admiration to Nicknamealguem for hosting tournaments. It's all really really well done (sorting entries, dashboards etc.) and it must cost a lot of time.
 
Skyline for me oooh juicy :P, I take it that im allowed to add mods to the car and it will still be eligible yes ?

I was planning on the Sprinter Trueno anyway, though I'll need to have a look to see what was in GT1 that's in GT5. And my PS3's working for now, so you will have something to go up against ;)
