Welcome to the Turismo Rally. The Turismo Rally is based on the famous Gumball 3000 rally that takes place once a year in Europe where people “race” their expensive luxury and super cars across 3000 miles. At the Turismo Rally we plan to replicate that. This event will be a multi-day event and will take place for about a week.
You’ll be able to pick any car to drive for the event as long as long as its street legal and you’re allowed to put a racing number on it. You’re required to use the same vehicle for the whole day.
When everyone who’s signed up is on, you may cruise on the track until the race starts. Please keep the chat to a minimum to keep the game from lagging. When the race starts please line up at the S/F for a few seconds for a photoshoot. When the photoshoot is over, I’ll announce you may start. Please do not race. This is not a race. This is a cruise so keep it at around 60-80 mph depending on the track. But on the last lap, you may go at it all full speed. After the race, you may celebrate, talk , etc. while I change the track. If you want to take pictures, don’t forget to save the replay! When the track loads, you may cruise and wait for the race to start.
In case of disconnections mid-race, you’ll be asked to rejoin and watch the race. In case of disconnections before the race, try to get back on as quickly as possible. We may or may not wait for you to rejoin. In case of constant disconnections (3+), you’ll be asked to leave and rejoin the next day. In case of lag, please try to ignore it. If it gets really bad, I’ll reopen it.
