Looking at your definition which looks like you just copied and paste, it seems that you didn't remember that when doing triple digit speed from your history.
The cop may have every right to pull you over for doing 1 mile over the "limit..." , but how are you going to tell 1 mile over the limit? Also, speed limits may say what the limit should say, but it also depends on the traffic conditions; if you're a lone driver then yes; if you're with a group of cars speed limit can stick it because of the flow of traffic.

I do occasionally speed...pretty much everyone does. But, there's a difference between me and street racers. I pull over almost immediately after a cop asks or honks. I can't remember the last time I ran. I respect the police officers. Ask typical cops if you don't believe me.

And it's not about if the cop can tell if you're speeding. That wasn't my point. My point was that going over the speed limit is still speeding even if it's by 1..2..3MPH etc.

I let the cops chase me when I'm bored. I don't speed too much though, unless I'm testing a new car.
