Nah, I think it would go well as its short so we could do many laps. Do u have an early idea of competetiveness of the cars, I had a quick go in my ford the other day and it seems an ok car, was expecting it to be slower than it is.

Joe- Its a bit too crazy I think. I cant believe non racers are voting, it matters little anyway as I think we are happy with the calendar.

Smithaz- Yes we do have an idea. Ill put it in a simple way because I am tired.
Handling/Top speed- Chapparel
Top speed/All rounder- Jaguar
Handling/Handling- Mk4 Ford
All rounder/Top speed- Ferrari

I think that makes sense, Joe?

By "a bit too crazy", do you mean my track or the voting?

If the Chapparal had more than 3 gears and decent acceleration, it'd be the best car, but since it doesn't, I'd say it's joint best with the MKIV for overall performance, with the Jag and Ferrari being pretty much equal with each other and very close to the MKIV and Chap.

EDIT: Nevermind, my mind forgot that you'd mentioned a crazy idea only a post before.

I meant my idea.

I agree on all counts. The Mk4/chappy in good hands will be tough to beat and Ferrari and Jag seem almost identical too. I got money on spurgey as it stands, lets just hope he kills his tyres more than I do!

If my Jag didn't have problems in that cambered left hander on the first Toscana track we tried, I may well have passed Spurgey while 3 of us battled for first. Instead, me and sandman span at that corner in seperate single car incidents at the same time, with me having problems there every lap. So it may be closer than you think.

I guess we all need to get some practice in and perfect our skills/tunes.
Its not a forgone conclusion and I am looking forward to the pre season :D

This looks good, I;ve never been good with car setups in this game.....hopefully I will have a teammate who knows what their doing. ;)

What was it, a tank car? :sly: Or a pink VW bug? LOL

A Passionate Pink SambaBus with green Goodyear rims (the tyres look incredibly out of place. They even have Goodyear written on the sidewall). :dopey:

Poor Etid, now I am going to have to find something worse but at least it wont be as bad as his musical tastes :D

We are now full btw 👍

Keep the cars coming lads, making them as mad as you can! I'll finish the video tonight. I need to get some racing gameplay to put in but the intro is done. Be warned it's pretty intence!

Could we introduce some Rolling Starts ??
Not for all Tracks :D
If not I´m cool too => I just have to test more Gear ratios. I know I rant allot about having only 3 gears but it´s hard to adjust those for Standing Start and Topspeed.
If too close good accel but no chance on straights. To wide => I loose 5 seconds at the Start which is hard for me to close again.
But 1 advantage is there: I´m totally away from possible pillups xDD

(And the Tire wear is almost non existant)

If you had a clutch pedal you would be able to fly. Because what i do with it is i tap the clutch a bit while rollling and it revs really and and gives me jumps in speed

Sak- I would be happy with rolling starts, as long as they work ok (not the same problem as ovals), or a formation lap. I think the chappy has an excellent chance over the season with its tyre wear and handling (top speed is also good).

Skate- Explain what you mean, are you talking about a double de clutch? Matching engine speeds to change gear? Or a racing clutch getaway?

Dont know what its called but when accelerating i tap the clutch 2-3 times and it speeds me right up.

Fair enough :)
Did you see the 24 hour race on spot races? (actual 24 hours on line!!!) its pretty cool.

Formation lap would be pretty cool, with these cars I think a single file start after a pace lap would be a great idea :)

Single file = no first corner pileups 👍

Ok well thats 3 people in favour, so now we got to decide on rolling or pace lap, first one to 5 gets in. Vote away and dont forget damage settings.
Rolling start- 2
Single file pace-4
Grid start-1

Light damage- 4
Heavy damage- 2

You guys want a quick race tonight? Maybe try out the single file pace lap, 10-15 laps at wherever with a mandatory pitstop? 👍

Ill be up for that, cant normally get on thursdays but the missus has got a netball match so Im green lit. 830pm my lounge ok?
We need to test one of my created tracks and Joes too.

Yeah that sounds great 👍 Maybe we can do the race at GVS to get some practice for the pre season?

skate- Acknowledged (in a russian accent)

Tom- I think we should try out the 2 new created tracks then have a 3 lapper on each with rolling start. Then onto GVS for 2 15 lap races with a forced pitstop. Looking forward to racing 👍

Sounds good 👍 so if these tracks are any good are they going to be replacing others or just added onto the schedule?
