I´m interested too
Yesterday was a fun session. Here are my Top 3:

Opel/Vauxhall Calibra
BMW M3
Alfa Romeo

First two are almost the same place and the 3rd one isn´t going to be mine, because all want that car :D

Suggestion: For the 2nd race why not make a reverse Grid ?? Adds a bit of action for the previous winner to fight through the field :D

Edit: Times are good for me
Edit²: 580pp is ok, if you lower the pp to 560 the M3/Astra would suffer the most and wouldn´t stand a chance. Otherwise this would raise the Benz to a competitive car. 570pp is probably the "best" alternative.
For that you have to limit the Calibra´s and the Alfa too but not much.
But there is room for testing it out :D

I register you guys now, I am only making a simple thread to keep track of the score.
I really like the reverse grid option for the 2nd race and am going to add that.
we shall keep testing but I really need to try the hp weight thing out too. we have to reel in the M3 a little but because it is the most modern of the cars it may be dumped if we fail. Tyres may also be moved to racing hards/mediums if they feel ok.

I could set a 2:17 with the Calibra at Spa, and I could go almost the same speed as Spurgy in the M3 (??).
The AWD of the Calibra slows it down a bit, but I tuned it like I tune my FF-Cars
=> was surprised it worked :D

For HP/weight I don´t have a clue what to suggest. 1120kg is the base for the M3 and 980ish is the Benz.
HP/kw has also a big range...

Hi There.. i am interested in joining the series, my top three cars i own are ..

BMW Race car..
Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring car
Vauxhall Astra Touring car

cheers 👍

I would but the pp is too high
=> you´ll have to install the Turbo and that ruins the Car. (plus mine has the rigidity improvement 20k Cr. waste on => too much understeer for me).

€dit:
From mygranturismo.com:

Mercedes: Stock 531pp 385hp 980kg
Alfa-Romeo: Stock 538pp 421hp 1010kg
Calibra´s: Stock 536pp 442hp 1040kg

Astra´s: Stock 581pp 462hp 1000kg
M3 GTR: Stock 568pp 452 hp 1120kg

SM- Cheers bro

Ellis- Me if it can be made to compete, it HAS to be in.

Sakery- Thanks, having a think on the options now 👍

Ill install the mid range turbo and see what hp that gives the merc (hopefully it wont ruin the car) then we can run a test with the other cars limited to this or just above to allow for the weight. It would mean limiting the power on the other cars a bit but its worth a look.

Calendar up! :D

Etid's choices hes away at the moment:
Calibra
Astra
BMW

Love those DTMs, please put me down for BMW/Astra/Merc

Matching them up is a difficult task, let me know when you guys are testing, I will try to join in.

Wen 9:15pm is good for me too.

Reversed grid is great, it always give better/closer battles, I use it all the time.

Getting the Merc to compete might be an impossible task and at the moment the BMW might be getting binned as it seems to be too fast. We are looking at finding a bhp setting that suits the main 90's cars.
Alfa
Merc
Cally
I think the astra will be ok to compete.

Add me on PSN and Ill message you when we are testing.

Will add you tomorrow.

One way to get the Merc to compete is let it run at a higher PP or higher HP or lower weight.

BMW is sure a faster car, the other car may work is the A4 (but it looks a bit out of place).

OK
The A4 is too advanced really as is the beemer. The merc is already a good bit lighter than the others but we will keep testing and see how we do.

Can we do this Series a bit earlier please. Maybe room open at 8 or I won't be able to race.

I wont make it if it opens earlier though :(. I dont think anyone from the US would be able to.

I guess my preference is the BMW.

Number two the Calibra, and number 3 whatever since I only have those 2.

What is your bed time at 9. :sly:

Im in, but I only have the BMW so if it gets removed I wont be able to race, unless one of the other cars comes up in the used car dealerships.

I am sorry to say that I cant do it any earlier, I dont get in until 830 on a wed and pagey and sakery dont until 9pm. I have eliminated the need to qualify twice by running a reverse start on the second race and keeping the races at 20 minutes each. If everyone is on time and we can get straight down to racing the whole thing will be done before 10pm.
You guys often race with me until midnight, I am a little confused why 10 is late?

Cool spurgey, the BMW probably going to get ditched so keep your eye out for another.

Why do it on a Wednesday anyway? Why not Sunday or Saturday? I would rather do this series than the FGTC. And also the race last Wednesday didn't start until 9:40 or so. I can't stay up later than 10 - 10:15 on week nights, or I'll be to tired for school.

My cars of choice:

1 - Calibra
2 - Mercedes 190 E
3 - Astra

Rich- I love the car but its a little too awesome for the others.

Etid- Ill start the race on time no matter what ok. We will be done by 10.

Ok, make sure you change my prefered cars. As Ellis gave you the wrong ones.

If the BMW does get ditched my team preference is:
Astra
Calibra
Merc
But obviously depends which one I can get my hands on :)

I will test the three oldschool DTM-cars myself (stock would be almost perfect).
I think all three (technically four) can do almost the same Lap-Times.
Benz ´92
Alfa ´93
Cally ´94
=> all different years and different specs
Very challenging to get all three to almost same level :D

(Suggestion: Drop the Astra too, because if above three are competitive the Astra won´t fit in those regulations)

You think?
I will be interested in what you find, can you do a few laps with a 400hp limit aswell please.
Thanks.
