There's another drop. :indiff:

So frustrating running a racing series anymore. Unless you're running NASCAR, Super GT or LeMans style racing, nobody cares no matter how good the idea is. People need to try something new...

Dont give up on the V8's man!:D

We'll be doing a pre-season race at the normal race time, this Sunday. Track will be Tsukuba and the race procedure will be the same except that qualifying will take place before the races.

I'll send out PM's with this info tomorrow to all drivers registered.

I'm actually thinking about changing up qualifying a bit, which would include a 20 minute group qualifying session on Saturday, then the top 5 shootout immediately following that. And the race will remain on Sunday.

Would it be a huge issue for anyone to take roughly 30-45 minutes on Saturday to qualify?

This works for me. It's hard for me to qual. during the week so this works out great . And i'm ready for sun. pre race should be fun. I love this track.👍:)

Only ones I have are the ones I'm using. Don't think the Jag is run in yet either. Just run the Laguna B-Spec enduro. Couple hours down and she'll be run in. 👍

Well I've decided that we'll only be doing a "tire test" tomorrow with some small sprint races, so you've got a whole week to get it broken in. 👍

In fact I may start pushing this whole thing back if we don't get any more signups. I would really like to get at least 12 cars on track...

I will get in on this, should be able to make most of the races. Not quite sure on what car I want to use, I am going to drive them a bit and then I will register. Is that Jaguar a standard car?? I SEE THAT IT IS..

Edit: I see that the qualifying will be held on Saturday, which is a problem for me, I won't be able to make that as I work every Saturday now. That being said, I don't mind starting at the back of the grid if that is ok with you.

I would honestly just do everything on Sunday. keep it a little simpler, and that's probably a reason why some people aren't joining.

That was just a suggestion, not official.

I'm currently writing down some notes about how I can simplify it a little. A postponement is certainly in the cards though while everything is figured out. I don't seem to understand the issue. Either online racing has tanked since FMSC or there's a secret society that is telling people to stay away from my racing series.

The problem IMO is your looking for us to use cars that are run in to get to spec. If we could buy them new and upgrade to spec then that would help IMO

Not sure how many racing series you participate in, but that's the norm.

RT is right, there are a few expections, like Katies PP regulated rallycross champ. For the most part series run off run in figures to cut out any possible cheating/unfair gains.

Power limiting a car increases the torque of the motor. Which gives you an advantage in acceleration. Honestly there's no reason to go through all that if you can just break in the motor and modify according to the specs. Only takes a couple hours to break it in, or you can just run with lower power until the car breaks itself in through racing.

So when and where is this "tyre test" tonight?

Might be good though if your working on changes, do a few small races see how things stack and make the changes from there.

Same cars at least? Maybe add a few? I am currently breaking in the Mercedes, as this is the car I think I would have chosen. Any idea when the new regs might roll out?

Nothing will change with the cars. Only qualifying format mainly for now. Still would like to have at least 12 people...

Noone posting their liveries?

Hoonigan Racing ISF here :)

Yay :D. Now you can race with some real clean racers ;).

Also now atleast the number 77 can own. And we both are Jags :D, if you can setup help would be nice when/if you have it later on :P.

Already have a setup :P Felt like going with the Jag because the other two cars have way too much understeer for my liking, even though they are a lot more stable
