Hey krenkme, I sent you my first entry, could you take some pics of it so I can post the tune? (You take much better pics then me) đź‘Ť

moparisgod
Thanks. And could you for my other entry as well? :nervous:

Before I headed out to go camping, I shot some pics of the car you sent me. Of course that involved me driving it, and I am impressed. Quite fast at Laguna, not quite sure about the gravel though :scared:. More my bad driving then car I'm guessing. Anyways when I get back home later tomorrow, I will take pics of your other entry and send them to you so you can post your tunes (assuming you sent me the car). Then I'll place them on share. Good luck :dopey:

Thanks again. The other has been sent, so I should make the deadline. I'm not sure about the gravel either

Thanks for hosting my cars too. It just makes it easier đź‘Ť

Eh…just a quick question for the tuners.

When you were tuning your cars, did the things just suddenly give up through the corners for no apparent reason and understeer off? I'm getting this fairly consistently and I've not gone off the track prior to that, so it can't be the dirt from the run offs…

…and as a result, I'm pissed off at my car and that basically means its not being finished off, with 20% or so to go.

I have never been able to go full throttle out of apex in the corners, or I would understeer towards the wall. The only way I could was to let it roll longer, and slowly apply throttle. Don't know if that was the answer you were looking for :dopey:

I used to despise driving offroad in GT5 and know exactily what your saying. The FF cars push on the pavement to begin with and only get worse when you take them offroad. I started trying to set up my corners very early and rotate the car with the handbrake when driving offroad. The braking distances are really long offroad so controlling your speed and keeping eyes way ahead toward the apex of the corner helps (you'll go where your looking most of the time) Not sure if this helps with your question but everything I said except handbraking also works on pavement. Though I do use the handbrake when at Eiger Mtn. short course:sly:

Heya boss , you prolly have noticed i am taking a break from GT5 , i got burned out on the game , i will be back for sure but atm i am enjoying myself beating the 🤬 out of people in UFC3 :D ...

That and i started a new job again lol , i know i know ... but i just finishd my second week at Volvo Cars Ghent at the welding plant ... yes Volvo :P

Not a problem. I think we've all been there by now. Game is over a year old and most have been playing just this game for that time. So kicking some 🤬 is always a good thing 👍... I have lately been playing FF XIII. Not bad :indiff:. When you come back full time let me know. I have a Ford for you to try :dopey:

Volvo! So when I need parts for my truck, I can call you? My rear hose lines may need replacing... boy did that come out wrong :dopey:

TUNER NOTES -
My first tune, and I'd like to thank krenkme, and Clueless Tunes for putting up with all my questions during the building. I know nothing about transmission, and krenkme said he couldn't build me one, because it would be cheating. But the 5 speed is very good for this car (it does max out at Laguna :grumpy: ) Hope you like it :nevous:

Well I was unsure that I was entering in the class A for Wallbanger's 2nd Annual FF Summer Shootout but krenkme asked if I could. So I did what any Clueless fan would do. I grabed a Panda :dopey:

-Close-ratio Trans. again... Some day I'll figure it out.

I wanted to preserve the look of the original so I didn't remove the bumpers or include a whale tail on this bug. Its now a beetle that can get to 60mph in 4.9 seconds and go onto speeds of over 140mph. You have to drive this car like any other mid-turbo car using the mid to upper mid gearing for shifts around 4000-4500rpm. This car may not be fast enough for courses with large straights but it always seems to bring a smile to the driver's face.

Part of DLC car pack III and can be found in the new car dealership

So I adjusted the transmission and ballast to accommodate the new performance. It was good enough to catch a Shelby Series One at Nurburgring GP/D 500pp Online Challange :dopey:

TUNER NOTES -
So you have became a Dad, and now you have to get rid of your two seater sports car. But what to have? Your wife wants something safe, and with enough room for the pack and play, and twenty bages of clothes and diapers, and you want the thrill of driving that your last car had.
Well Clueless tunes might have the answer. "Daddys Wagon" has left all the things your wife and kids need and want, with a little for you, Dad. All the insides are there, as well as the stock engine... but what they don't know won't hurt 'em...right?
A little suspension work and a re-done transmission... and a few little things your wife and kids will never know about :sly: and you have a very fun ride.
Keep the stock tires (Sport Hard) on when transporting the family about, but switch the softa when you want some alone time fun :dopey:

Something to go with your classic Nissans. Even though they'll probably walk all over it in a race.

Well you are a chosen member of Clueless for the duration of the shootout, so I guess it's okay :P

Now that I have my entries in, maybe I can get around to comparing cars found here in the tuning forum. We'll just have to see how these match up :dopey:

Thank you for trying the tune. It is mostly useful when driving on a low-mid speed course but it is always fun to race sports cars with a quick beetle. :dopey:

It's nothing to special, just a "family wagon" :sly:. I can see if me daughter can have it up on share in a few hours, if you don't have one of your own :dopey:

I have yet to mess with the two or three RS4s I have sitting around my garage. Fun wagon tunes are always great!

Yah, wagons are fun... I even did 12 of them for my X-Mas special :dopey:. Sadly my wife will not let me get a Dodge Magnum, so I got a Journey instead (it's almost a wagon :D)

I'll try and get it on share sometime tomorrow if you, or anyone else wants to try it.

Have a great night :dopey:

Bleh, Magnum is junk. :yuck: Drove one and hated every minute being in it. Maybe a higher trim would have been better but it was just a terrible experience for me.

I am a VAG snob though so of course it cant compare to my A6. :D I'll give that RS4 a go. I had one tuned for the touge shootout a while back but went with the TT instead. Fun car even stock.

I haven't really driven one yet, but it's a wagon with a Hemi... how bad could it be?

The Audi was just a tune I had sitting around for a while, and wanted send it out to all the dads and there kids đź‘Ť. It really is nothing special, but rather a fun car to toss around the track. I hope you enjoy it :dopey:
