First up, you may have seen that there are a number of GRID 2 pre-order bonuses available. These will make up part of the first wave of DLC and they will all be available separately once GRID 2 has launched. Following this, we will be looking to release fresh new content each month and you can expect the first pack to be released towards the end of June, all things going to plan (note: this is a plan that is ultimately subject to change based on a number of factors, as is the way in games development).

Does this mean that all those pre-order bonuses will basically be available to buy themselves seperately?

Yes.. These will make up part of the first wave of DLC and they will all be available separately once GRID 2 has launched.

Hmm... I do believe I called this. They weren't just gonna let one region have something the other didn't when there's money to be had.

Greed is steering the ship, but I'm walking away from the dock. If I do buy it, it will be when the price drops alot.

Agreed. I'll probably wait for a complete edition.

I just want Brands Hatch but want to wait for reviews and DLC. Hope its still available after launch. Indy pack never wooed me. Car list does seem small though.

I'm more then likely going to just complete enough of the game where I can get all the cars and that's it. Other then drifting (assuming its anywhere as good as it was in the first game), I'm likely not going to try do all the other disciplines. Going from seven tracks to four makes wanting to beat the whole game abit of a stretch now.

could someone explain whats so big about brands Hatch dont quite get it sorry i just dont know

Brands Hatch is a legendary race track in the UK. If memory serves right, at one point it held the British Grand Prix many times, some while swapping the event with Silverstone in a similar fashion to how Hockenheim and Nurburgring trade off. Silverstone has been covered, and Donnington Park, another famed UK track, was in GRID 1. I think the big thing here is that it hasn't been in many games, if any.

You guys are really slow at posting vids on this thread :sly:

Ahead of this weekend’s Indy 500, Codemasters today released a new GRID 2 gameplay video showing Dallara IndyCars racing at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Codemasters also announced GRID 2: Race Day Edition is now available to pre-order from amazon which includes extra routes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The IndyCar Pack – featuring two extra routes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Circuit plus the Dallara IndyCar and Indy 500 Pace Car liveries for the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition

You should, the pre-order status means you'll get whichever pack is available per region, unless a super-duper special edition comes out alongside it...best check with Amazon though, it should show in your pre-order tab.

Well that's just silly. If you were in the market for a BAC mono why on earth would you want one with a video game livery on it?

Prediction - 0 sales, 1 world record to promote the game.

It will feature a BAC Mono supercar and a tour at the BAC factory, a branded racing helmet and a racing suit, gloves and boots made to measure.

A PS3 and a copy of the game will also be provided.
And I thought you'd also get a bloke...

You can create your own custom liveries for it (and any other car) too.
BUT can you actually race against different liveries or people who paint their car will still race against 15 cars with the same liveries? (I'm talking about Indycars, and offline, as I guess people will paint their car online).

During the livestream yesterday i noticed next to the indycar it said livery 1/2 which I'm assuming that 1 is the default and 2 is your own livery. Same thing with the Cruze.

you'd have to ask the community team that I'm afraid, as I don't know the answer for Career (offline) modes
I don't know who the community team are. What I know is Codemasters made the same mistake with GRID 1 DLC. Only 1 livery available for AI in most of the cars.
