Also when you purchase it from the PS Store or Steam in Portugal...?
I was going to buy it from a local store, not steam or PS Store. Now i'm tempted to buy the game on PSN but I just wanted to know if it comes with any of the pre-order DLC's or not.

I just found out the reason for 2/3 weeks delay. It looks like they sent the copies without them being on english or portuguese. They only had it on spanish, german and french so all the copies that they had previously (they had a lot more than 7 copies in stock lol) were sent back to fix this problem.

Ouch man, the PSN version won't come with any DLC as they're retailer exclusive. You could get an English copy over at Amazon UK, it comes with Race Day DLC.

Are the drift type cars actually faster if you drift them rather than try for grip? From my experiences they're quicker when I get them to grip but I'm stuck on the first season final, I'm just wondering if it's because I can't drift them properly or if I just need to practice some more.

I really enjoy the Liveroutes races, only done 1 or 2 so far but they're brilliant. Haven't been online yet but from what I gather you earn cars there seperately to career mode which I think is great.

Happy with the game so far but I doubt it will keep me occupied for more than a month or two.

From racing online, I think they're faster. But I'm used to racing and not drifting so I mess up when trying to drift during a race.

Online, you earn money to buy cars and to upgrade them.

I'm starting to see the public rooms get straightened out. Last 3 rooms I was in, everybody had a White Impact Symbol and we had fairly clean races, except for when someone misjudged a corner.

Maybe its because I'm on early as crap..

So its been a glorious day in north Wales, temperature touching the twenties and sunny pretty much all day...and ive been in all day playing Grid 2!

So does anyone know if theres a limit on the number of in game fans you can have?..i have around 213 thoushand fans so far, is anyone up in to seven figures?!

(Angry rant- excessive use of censored profanity in this post)

🤬. After 15 minutes of playing Grid 2 online, I've had it. Every 🤬 race I enter, everyone just goes straight into the first corner, and takes out the field. It's 🤬 crazy, these people have no idea what a brake is, let alone a corner. Even when I took the lead from being stone dead last, someone intentionally spun me out.

It's obvious to me these 🤬 guys just do it to try and win, but the aggressive way is for full on arcade racers like Burnout and Criterion's Need For Speed games, not a game like Grid. The real way is to look for chances to pass and judge your opponents moves. Out of the 4 games I joined, all of them were unfair and full of trolls.

But saying this does give me an idea, perhaps we should start a racing league where only clean driver's are allowed, to create a fair and even game that everyone could enjoy. Your opinions are the ones that count though, so if you want a league like that, just say.

Angry person's rant

You just been getting into the bad rooms. What colors were the opponents? Just about all day today my opponents have been Green and White. Fairly clean racing with hiccups here and there.

I've learned that not everybody who plays this played GT5, Forza, or a simulator. Some just got this game because its new.
I just let the carnage happen in front of me and then make my move.

Mainly yellows with reds and a rare green. I got demoted to a red. 👎

Im hearing bad things about the multiplayer but how are people finding singleplayer? I've seen a couple of videos on youtube and i think looks pretty impressive.
Hope Sony hurry with their store maintainence. Whos bright idea was it to do it ona Friday evening

Nothing so far I have read convinces me "not" to get Grid 2. Now just have to find a good price somewhere and pick it up and give it a shot. :)

That's why. You're playing with the ones who like to wreck other people and stuff.

The Impact Rating goes from White(cleanest), Green, Yellow, Orange, Red(dirtiest).

Is there a option to let you adjust impact ratings, so far I've just done the "Race" tab.

Nope. You have to earn your impact rating by racing as clean as you possibly can. Even if it means driving slow enough to be in last place, but still fast enough to finish.

I love single player and so does my gf. I played online with some people in this thread the other day. It was good clean racing besides 2 incidents(one was appoligized for). But the physics seem different online to me. It seemed like it the fastest way to drive all cars is super intial d drift the piss out if every car.

No problem. Just trying to help out.

Edit: I'm spectating a race, and I didn't know you could blow your tires.. o_0

Yeah I found this out the hard way. -.-

I'd be interested in joining a league. I've been waiting for a few days to play online just so I can let the Greens get green and the reds get red, people can only hide how they really play for so long.

I've been fighting through it. I'm currently White. Which I'm proud of since I'm racing through all this carnage, lol.

I think I've done the first 2 races offline so far.

I've done LOTS offline, I'm at 650,000 odd fans. I quite like the AI in this one. I found the first game to be really really aggressive, but not too bad in this.

I've noticed this too, everyone I've raced drifts around every corner HP3 style. Its the best way to race in Grid 2, keep in mind it isn't a sim.

Not too bad eh? I'll give it a run soon.

Yeah, I see people drifiting all the time to keep speed through the corners. But that's when the wrecks start to happen too.

Lol im quite aware it's not a sim. I'm not into raping my steering wheel to death to keep up with people. Ill stick to single player.

It depends solely on the car. The 300ZX does best not drifting unless the corner is tight. The S15 does best going full on Criterion. The Focus ST does good drifting even tho it's a FWD|GRIP car. The Golf R is complete rubbish if you try to kick it out.

And darren you should race Spoil-t if you don't want the bad rooms. Him & me are on it around this time so race us. :sly:
