So... was speaking to VYPA-SQUAD_Ace earlier and he asked me what the coloured icons (impact rating) mean in multiplayer. He also mentioned that a few of you guys where unsure, so here it is:

Impact Rating system – white is best/cleanest, and then goes through green, yellow (neutral – where each player starts), orange, and red.

I heard that there is a rare special edition of GRID 2. GRID 2 Mono is THE MOST expensive game ever, for $190,000! The reason that it costs so much is that this game also comes with an actual car, A BAC Mono!

If it's Steam (or any other DD), you can't resell it if the key is already redeemed.

Someone has already modded the PC version to add a cockpit camera. It's not great but it's better than nothing!

I dont get the whole things about cockpit. They dont look the same as when you're driving a car and they took too much vision for my taste. Bumper cam ftw.

Not only that but people who use wheels and cockpit mode have two steering wheels in view at all times. Where's the realism?

What I don't get is how a British publisher can leave us high and dry in Europe for three days. Hurry up and send my copy already you b[censored]ds!

Once you get a few races down the line you start to see why they dropped the cockpit view, scenarios are beautiful, tracks are challenging and demanding therefore you need a clear view of where are you driving, you get a ... "Dirt" feeling into it, is not absolute simulation but is great as an arcade/sim game.

Tracks are fantastic, cars are beautiful and the sounds are ... incredible, loving this game so far.

How can I change the car handling? The drift and balanced presets are terrible with a steering wheel, only the grip cars control well with one

This argument never made sense to me. When I use my wheel and cockpit view, I'm too focused on what's happening on-screen to be worried about my literal hands and wheel.

I go on multiplayer, Win my first ever race. From then on I haven't been able to get past the first corner without being punted. After the first race I got from a default yellow collision rating to green. Know I'm back to yellow. How fairs that? I kind of feared this but it looks like a perfectly good game will be spoiled by hoards of clueless imbeciles once more. It annoys me so much, I bought this game mainly for multipayer and its just pointless now. I can deal with dirty racing (even though its not my own style) but when you can't get past the first turn without being hammered into it gets a bit redicilous. Ill still get my moneys worth out of it due to private lobbys but its still a shame.

I think a good idea would be to compile a list of all of us interested in regular clean racing and maybe update the OP with it?
