Yeah, they're bundling a BAC Mono with an exclusive GRID 2 livery.

Yes, really.

You get a bit more than that.

A suit and a tour of the BAC factory.

Oh and a PS3… why would you buy a PS3 game when you don't have a PS3...? Or even buy that Mono edition one at all...

Well I've encountered quite a few people who codes didn't work yet. Codies said they should work tomorrow. A few who did have their cars said they downloaded the game. Mine don't work for now, but I'm gonna wait for the store to update.

Also, I've won 3 playlists!
I don't like you gotta unlock and then buy the cars.. you don't get much cash..

Didn't see any of the DLCs in the Playstation Store. Any idea as to when those will be up?

I know some people are asking for a review from someone on GTplanet. I will have my review up by the weekend for those who are on the fence. So far, I am happy with the game. Also for the codes not working, on Codemasters forums. Someone has already contacted Sony and the codes should be working by tomorrow once the PSN store updates.

You can purchase them through the game. But who wants to do that? Lol.

Well, I've bought DLC several times through games and it was often more better then waiting for the PSN store to load up (hate what they've done, what was wrong with it before?).

What surprises me is that when you go to the PSN Store through the game, it uses the original design before it's big update. Madness :boggled:

*From what I remember. :sly:

That got me too. I'm assuming the store is almost done updating. I'll give it like 15 more minutes.

I think this is like it through all games (Grid 2 releases later here I think, so no hands-on yet). It's a fairly pleasent throwback to better times ;)

yeah i just got home with the game and no codes work yet

Let the store update, there's no DLC for the codes to redeem yet ;)

Well with Borderlands 2, you could get the psycho well before the store updated; but you had to purchase/download him through the game.

Actually the DLC is on the store. They're still adding items.

ADDON: The codes now work!

Id give the game a 7.5/10 or 8/10. Pretty solid game although it does have its faults like most games do.

Yeah, its good for what it is. It's pretty addictive in my opinion. Already have $98,000 in multiplayer.

How is this with a wheel? (Specifically G25/G27) I remember Grid being a real pain to get setup and never felt right. And Dirt 3 felt great but you only had a lock to lock of about 180degrees. So through pretty much every stage you'd barely move the wheel more than 45deg.
How strong is the feedback? Can you make it so the wheel will wrench out of your hands touching the barriers or smacking into another car like in Grid1?

I remember Grid1 was the first game we tried the G25 on when me and my mates got it home. I remember you could make the feedback so strong it would move the table and could almost brake thumbs lol

Yea i went on a 17 race win streak and i currently have $160000.

Lucky you! I've had a small 2 win streak. But I'm in the server lobby with continuous races. I've also brought my color back up to green! Woot!

Haha, my first piece of hatemail on Grid 2. Dude was mad because he thought I tried taking him out. When you're racing on a very tight course, you're gonna rub paint.

I'm impressed to say the least. I was very skeptical of this game after i watched all the game play and such. But, i bought it my self, tried it, and i like it alot so far. Im using a Fanatec GT3RSv2 with csr pedals and it feels good. Im getting good FFB, kinda similar to when i play GTR2. I noticed i didnt slide and drift as much as i thought compared to the footage i was watching. But i came to the conclusion that until i drove the game, i couldnt be sure it was really like that.
*Edit* add rollingzoku92 if you're looking for an extra person to race

Which platform are you playing on?

I've watched some gameplay and the first 15 minutes but this looks really good. First I didn't like it but now I'm convinced.
The cars sound good and the carreer seems very interesting and nicely set up.
Maybe I'll be picking this up!

I got the game on Steam and I like it so far. The story is kind of 'meh' but l like everything else so far. The handling is a little weird to get used to but it feels like it's a decent balance between playability and realism. My only complaint is that I wish you could develop your team more like in the original Grid. I don't like the idea of not getting money for winning races. Fans are ok, but having currency would be better.

The online is good too. It's rare I find a racing game that isn't inhabited by people online who like to play demo derby or having a bunch of whiners that go nuts if you bump their car during a race. I did a pretty good series of races last night and there were plenty of close racing with a ton of bumping, but nothing intentional though and no one complained. It was quite nice.

I'll get back at it some more tonight. I just hope the game isn't too short. I'm already halfway though Europe and I feel like its moving along pretty quick.
