My first and only silver trophy so far in career mode. Can anyone give some advice or post a video on how to get 180 cones? I've gotten 165 once and I'm normally lucky to break 150.

There are several areas where there is a group of cones, including one right up against the wall straight ahead (if you hit the wall it's auto disqualification) you want to hit as many of the groups away from the wall as you can and then right at the end just pull up to the group at the wall. I've consistently hit over 185 but still haven't got over 190. I'll try and post my route later if you want a video or haven't completed it.

Also a tip if it isn't too obvious, try using the chase cam or roof cam as they're higher and give you a better view of the cones.

Ah thats a solid idea about changing the camera view, I normally do bonnet or bumper cam. Thanks I'll try it again and try to finish with that group you mentioned.

EDIT: Wow, changed the view and got 198 cones in about 10 minutes. Great tip!

Up to National A and the cone challenges are the only ones I can't get Gold in (not even close to the number needed). The cones are definitely the hardest thing in the game so far

Thank you Medigo, that helps a lot. Now to see if I can remember the route when I try it later lol. Didn't think about checking YouTube for a vid...hopefully there's one for the first cone challenge too as I couldn't do that one either

The second cone challenge was tough, truly annoying. I sat at 175 for 10-15 tries and, finally, broke through with 183 cones.

If you're a wheel player, you might want to try switching to DS3 for a bit as that seemed to be just the trick over here for me.

Update: Having watched the videos a few times and powered up GT6, I went back to try the cone challenges again (so far the only thing I hadn't got Gold in). It's amazing how much easier it is when you see a video of it.

Challenge #1: Yesterday my best time was 28.7 seconds and, today, after a few attempts where I got DQ'd as hit the wall, on my second try where I completed it (the first being 30 secs), I somehow managed to get a 20.2!! No idea what happened lol

Challenge #2: This one took me about 10 attempts of adjusting my route slightly and finally got Gold. Can't remember how many I hit

So, thanks once again Medigo for posting the videos, so very much appreciated 👍

57sunburst: I wish I was a wheel player! Can't sit down for long enough to use one so have to make do with the DS3. You are right, the second one was definitely tougher...in fact, it is the toughest thing I have come across so far (even harder than the little Go-Kart things and I hate them with a vengeance!!)
