Coke or Pepsi?

Two questions:

1. How different does Pepsi taste in the US compared to Australia?

2. Why did they can (no pun intended) the Pepsi 'Blue' variety? When it arrived in Australia around the same time as Coca Cola Vanilla (my personal favourite) it seemed to sell quite well. A deal was even one with 7-Eleven to sell the much-hyped 'Pepsi Blue' Slurpies and every second kid in school was raving on about it. What went wrong? Did legal problems cause for the product to fizz out?

I remember Pepsi having several "new" types that never lasted long here in the states.. I'm thinking it might have to do with cost to make it vs. actual sales of product. If the company just is not seeing the money they were expecting they'll pull the soda from the shelves before it has a chance to catch on with the public.

Thankfully Real Sugar Pepsi has made it's return in my area... looks like it's a summer only drink?

Pepsi, Pepsi Max to be exact. Coca Cola Zero is a good second though.

Worst... Coca Cola Chemic... uhh Light. Normal Pepsi or Coca Cola are sweeter then Pepsi Max or Coca Cola Zero so i dont like it that much, but its okay.

Mtn dew is the best soft drink, but very hard to find in holland

I have absolutely no allegiance to any of these drinks, but I usually end up drinking Coke by mere virtue of seeing it first. I honestly prefer Sprite, or better yet, tea of some kind.

I dont know how could anyone not taste the difference between the two drinks...

and it's fairly obvious that Pepsi taste better !
it's just so unfortunate that everywhere i go, they only offer coke

I chosed Pepsi in the poll, though I usually drink Coca-cola at home (no more than 1 can every week )

I'll take the Coka Cola over Pepsi, too. Never been a fan of anything Pepsi made, except for Mountain Dew.

Pepsi for me, I just like to be different In all honesty though I actually drink more Coke Zero/Pepsi Max then their regular varieties.

Pepsi, because I grew up with it.

But both taste the same to me anyway, so it's one or the other.

Honestly, if I could only have one type of soda for the rest of my life I would pick Pibb Xtra, and I would be quite happy about it.
