It's time to start a new week of college football. This is where some of the bigger games take place, especially in conference. This is where Houston's no longer among the unbeaten non-BCS crowd, leaving Boise State and TCU to battle among themselves to make a BCS bowl. This is where Florida will go back to work (with or without Tim Tebow) at LSU. In fact, this is yet another SEC-based GAME OF THE WEEK.

Upcoming schedule:
FBS: TUE, THU-SAT
FCS: THU and SAT
D2: THU-SAT
D3: FRI and SAT

--- NFL Focus ---
Time to take a look at the National Football League before I end this post. This is Breast Cancer Awareness Week for the NFL, so certain players will be wearing pink items for breast cancer awareness. I guess to add some diversity, I'll go pink (magenta, actually) with these scores. These aren't UPSET OF THE WEEK nominees, just going with the flow.

Houston, Texas - Disappointment Last Week, This Week...
* Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans
If the Houston Texans are such a bad team, then they are supposed to lose to bad teams. Well, the Houston Texans played like they should have played all season long today. It was a sensational win as the Raiders just seemed dumbfounded almost all game long. The Safety they scored followed by the ensuing cost-to-coast touchdown was my highlight(s) of this game Oakland goes to New York Giants(?) next, while the Texans will go play at the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday. (29-6; HOUSTON TEXANS)

Denver, Colorado - Broncos Look to Be Miles High Over Dallas
* Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos
Texans fans like calling the Cowboys as the "Cowgirls." Well, the Broncos stampeded the Cowboys to win this one. (17-10; DENVER BRONCOS)

Jacksonville, Florida - Can the Titans Get a Win?
Nope. The Jaguars were ferocious and fierce in taking a bite out of the Tennessee Titans. (37-17; JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS)

Miami, Florida - Dolphins Set to Make a Splash Against Buffalo
* Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
The University of Miami was done upsetting Oklahoma on Saturday night. Now, can the Dolphins take care of Buffalo? It was child's play for the Dolphins as they cleaned house against Buffalo. (38-10; MIAMI DOLPHINS)

Cleveland, Ohio - Bengals and Browns Clash for Buckeye State Pride
* Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
This game saw both teams have to settle their differences in Overtime. And in Overtime, the Bengals (not the Bungles) delivered the dagger to Cleveland and their fans with a great field goal[/U]. (23-20, OT; Cincinnati Bengals)

New Orleans, Louisiana - Saints Look to Exorcise Demon Jets
* New York Jets at New Orleans Saints
A "New" team will win this one, but which? New Orleans was on point in handling the Jets to improve to 4-0. (24-10; NEW ORLEANS SAINTS)

Foxborough, Massachusetts - Patriots Meet Some Ferocious Fowl
* Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
Pats. Ravens. Let's do it! Quoth New England- nevermore. It was a great game, but New England held on long enough to survive Baltimore's attack. (27-21; NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS)

San Francisco, California - 49ers Dig for Gold Against St. Louis' Blue and Gold
* St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis wears blue and gold. Unlike St. Louis' beautiful colors, the Rams are having an ugly season. They hope a trip to San Francisco will help things get better. The 49ers gave the Rams an even bigger migrane headache with a shutout beatdown. Looks like Tylenol isn't going to help ease the pains the Rams are having... (35-0; SAN FRANCISCO 49ers)

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Ben Roethlisberger Wants a Win Before Hosting Monday Night RAW
* San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers --- SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ---
Despite the Chargers getting three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, it still wasn't enough to surpass the Pittsburgh Steelers on the scoreboard. (38-28; PITTSBURGH STEELERS)

The Monday Night game is Brett Favre's old team at Brett Favre's new team. Packers at Vikings on Monday Night!

-end "NFL Focus"

That's all for this report. Feel free to chat about this past week of action and any games you may be looking forward to this week.

Tonight, Middle Tennessee State will head down to Alabama to take on Troy in this Sun Belt clash! I'll have results of this game when I'm done with it.

Rachael Ray makes 30-minute meals. Meaning in the time it takes for you to watch her program, she will have created a quick and healthy meal in under half an hour. Well... I make score reports in... when it's done. Meaning in the time it takes for you to live your life the way you please, I'll have made a great report of scores from college football action for your enjoyment. So let's get cracking!

--- Division FBS Scores ---

Troy, Alabama - Sun Belt Powers Collide
* Middle Tennessee State {Blue Raiders} at Troy {Trojans}
Okay. The Sun Belt is obviously not the best conference in FBS. I get that. But these are two teams you should never underrate. You see, Middle Tennessee State and Troy are two powerful programs. Both are very talented, and while they may never prove to be BCS busters, both teams will surely give you a fight. Some say that USCal are the ONLY Trojans. Troy's Trojans would gladly disagree. Middle Tennessee State's Blue Raiders are ready to head into southeastern Alabama to take down Troy. Didn't happen. MTSU were fortunate to get even seven points. (31-7; TROY)

No more scores. So let me move on to a few extras. I know I haven't done these regularly...

EXTRA: Tim Tebow to Return Soon?
Tim Tebow was knocked out when his Florida Gators played at Kentucky. Though they won 41-7 over Kentucky, it was a bitter sweet moment that Gator Nation saw Tebow go down. They thankfully had a Bye week, and Georgia didn't exactly do Florida any favors. My GAME OF THE WEEK this week is #1 Florida at #4 LSU. Find out who beat who when my Saturday report is complete.

EXTRA: "Step Down, Bobby Bowden?"
From one Florida school to another... While times are happy in Gainesville, Tallahassee is much different. What happens when you're a National Power, but don't play like a National power all season long? You want the coach fired. College sports aren't like pro sports in which players are still under contract and want to call for a trade. The only thing close to this is when a player transfers to another school. Purists think Bobby Bowden should call his own shots as to whether to quit or not. He's one of the winningest active coaches in college football. I personally don't believe he should be ousted by Florida State because as much as Joe Paterno IS Penn State football, Bobby Bowden IS Florida State football.

DISCUSS: Do you think fans should demand Bobby Bowden be fired, or do you think the Florida State faithful should just shut up?

* Division FCS begins Thursday and continues on Saturday.

* Division 2 begins Thursday and goes into Saturday.

* Division 3 begins Friday and goes into Saturday.

That's all from me for this report. I'll be back on Thursday to discuss scores from action from Thursday, including a Big XII North showdown in Columbia, Missouri as Nebraska meets Missouri. It's a battle of teams ranked between 20 and 25. Take care!

That's all from me for this report. I'll be back on Thursday to discuss scores from action from Thursday, including a Big XII North showdown in Columbia, Missouri as Nebraska meets Missouri. It's a battle of teams ranked between 20 and 25. Take care!

Wait. People acknowledge that place's existence? I thought we were the only ones to go there, for the purposes of ruining their day.

Eeeew. Columbia. :yuck:

October 8th marks 11 months I've been on YouTube. How about we get to some scores?

--- Division FBS Scores ---
Only one game on the fight card for FBS. So let's see who won.

Columbia, Missouri - Unbeaten Tigers Meet Nebraska's only Division 1 Football School
* #21 Nebraska {Cornhuskers} at #24 Missouri {Tigers}
The Missouri Tigers are currently unbeaten. Whether or not they remain that way depends on how Nebraska does. The Cornhuskers pulled away from Missouri to end their unbeaten run. (27-12; #21 Nebraska)

--- Division FCS Scores ---
Only one FCS game. There won't be any more FCS action until Saturday, so let's find out who's the winner in an Ivy League match.

Princeton, New Jersey - Colgate Gives Some Tigers Some Dental Hygeine Tips
* #24 Colgate {Raiders} at Princeton {Tigers}
Princeton University was one of the very first college football schools some almost 140 years ago. The Princeton Tigers are ready to throw down against some folks from Colgate. The Hamilton, New York-based Colgate University (or College?) are just a bunch of Raiders ready to spay and neuter some Tigers. Sixty seconds wasn't enough for Colgate to survive being Tiger dinner. (21-14, OT; #24 Colgate)

--- Division 2 Scores ---
Three games, three scores. Let's get it on.

* Clarion at Slippery Rock {27-10; Clarion)
* Arkansas-Monticello at West Georgia (34-3; Arkansas-Monticello)
* North Greenville at #3 North Alabama (50-3; #3 NORTH ALABAMA)

Division 3 begins Friday and goes into Saturday.

I have selected #1 Florida at #4 LSU as my "GAME OF THE WEEK" this week. And honestly, I would be VERY surprised if Florida leaves Baton Rouge still undefeated. With a recovering Tim Tebow, Florida seems very vulnerable. It doesn't help much that you play in the tough-as-nails SEC.

That's all the time I have for this report. Take care and have a lovely day, lovely people!

I'm concerned about Michigan at Iowa this Saturday night. The Hawkeyes won't do the Wolverines any favors after the upset at Michigan State. I think Michigan has a chance to win at Kinnick Stadium, but it's going to be awfully tough. Forcier and his boys have to force the issue if the Wolverines are to give the Iowa Hawkeyes that knuckle sandwich that knocks them out of the unbeaten ranks.

I don't foresee Michigan winning this game tomorrow, I don't think they know how to pull it together on the road. Who knows though, it really could go either way but I think Iowa has the stronger team.

I played Wii Sports Resort at a Walmart recently. I'll tell you how it went in my Student Lounge. For now, let's do college football!

--- Division FBS Scores ---

Reno, Nevada - Puppies Will Win, but of Which Variety?
* Louisiana Tech {Bulldogs} at Nevada {Wolfpack}
The Biggest Little City in the World is ready for action as the Nevada Wolfpack feast on some more opposition. The boys from Louisiana Tech are thinking otherwise, because Bulldogs put up quite a fight. Who cares about that Westminster Dog Show? You want a real dog show? Check out this game! The Wolfpack creamed LA Tech in this one. (37-14; NEVADA)

Division FCS resumes Saturday

--- Division 2 Scores ---
Let's toss the pigskin to Division 2 and see how they did tonight.

* Southren Connecticut State at Bentley (17-14; BENTLEY)

You may have seen me mention Bentley in my Division 2 reports. Why don't we take a little time and learn more about Bentley?

John's Profile School: Bentley University
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bentley_University
Website: http://www.bentley.edu
Colors: Blue and Gold
Nickname: Falcons

Bentley University is based 10 miles west of Boston, Massachusetts in the city of Waltham. It is a private co-ed university founded in 1917. Its roots began in Boston, but later moved to Waltham in 1968 as more students wanted to enroll at Bentley. It is one of the most well-respected universities for business studies. Alumni of Bentley include names like:

* Mackenzy Bernadeau (plays for the NFL's Carolina Panthers)
* Robert F. Smith (former Chairman and CEO of American Express Bank)
* Andrew Henshaw (CFO of Novatec Inc.)
* Mike Mailn (owner of Dolce Group and grand champion of "Big Brother: All-Stars")

The conference they play in is the Northeast-10. It is a conference almost exclusively northern New England as schools from New York state, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire all compete in this division. Only Southern Connecticut State and (non-football) Massachusetts-Lowell are public universities among all Northeast-10 schools. Bentley is currently 4-1 counting this win. Their next match will be at on the road at Pace University next Saturday.

--- Division 3 Scores ---
One more score to report on.

* Massachusetts Maritime at Westfield State (13-7; WESTFIELD STATE)

John's Student Lounge
Only cool people hang out in my student lounge. Meaning... all you lovely people on GTPlanet! :) Anyhow, let me chat on Wii Sports Resort.

* I played about five different events. The first of which was sword fighting. I did a speed slash deal and won against an AI opponent. It was pretty cool just slashing things. * Bowling was another fun thing I tried out in the game. I never bowled a strike in the game. But on the first two frames, I bowled for spares. * I tried out wakeboarding. Didn't know what I was doing, but had fun pulling all kinds of tricks. I think a score of 237 or something. * I tried out frisbee next. For a guy who likes cats more than dogs, this virtual puppy was a cutie! Not to mention very good at catching frisbees. I had a great toss on the first one. But when the target was on the left side of the screen, I struggled very much. I even popped the bonus balloon once. * Finally, I tried basketball. About 20-30 seconds into my trial, I struggled finding out how to actually shoot a basketball. I don't think I got anything from my first attempt, but I got a total of 8 points in my second attempt, banking the multi-colored ball (which I want to call the "Money Ball") twice.

I've never played Wii Sports at all prior to my first run with Wii Sports Resort. It's a good way to have a home workout if you fancy a digital workout.

My YouTube channel ( http://www.youtube.com/JohnMarineTube ) has recently hit the 8,000 channel view mark. I actually predict that I may reach the 10,000 mark either early next year or (with fortune) late in December. I'm actually planning on doing a one-year anniversary video when my one-year anniversary comes on November 8, 2009. Actually, I may do two videos- one on my actual one-year joining of YouTube and another on the anniversary of my first video.

That's all from me here. Thanks for reading. The GAME OF THE WEEK for me is #1 Florida at #4 LSU. I'd be terribly surprised if Florida ends up winning. I'm even concerned about Michigan at Iowa. One of Michigan's players will be out of the game with injury. Go out to a game or go see a bunch of games this Saturday! I'm hearing that temperatures will finally go into the mid-70s here in Houston, but the Houston Cougars won't play in H-Town because they have a match on ESPN at Mississippi State.

Have a great weekend! Also, be sure to check into this thread as I may make a few quick reports as to who all have won. And remember, before/during/after games, don't just wait on my report- check into this thread and chat about what's going on. And also remember to tell me what you think is the biggest win and biggest loss from this week's games once all the games have concluded. Farewell!

Good evening, everyone! Here are a few highlights I have to share...

* Houston handles Mississippi State in a close game.
* Navy owns Rice 63-14.
* Tennessee embarrassed Georgia at home.
* #17 Auburn gets slapped around at home against Arkansas.
* Close, but not close enough... a ranked South Carolina tames Kentucky at home 28-26.
* #3 Alabama, on the road, prevented #20 Mississippi from reaching the end zone, winning 22-3.
* Duke hammers North Carolina State on the road 49-28.

Full report to come when it's done.

The first full week of October 2009 will wrap up with Saturday's games. Ready to find out who all won? Then you're in luck!

--- Division FBS Scores ---

Baton Rouge, Lousiana - Tebow or No Tebow... Gators Try to Survive Against the Bayou Bengals
* #1 Florida {Gators} at #4 LSU {Tigers} --- GAME OF THE WEEK ---
I don't know if you know this, but Florida is a big deal. Louisiana State is a big deal. Put these two powers into a football stadium, and you easily have the best match of the week. The Gators basically are making a game time decision on Tim Tebow. And he... WILL play. The Tigers need to try to do everything they can to unseat Florida from the unbeaten ranks. Having lots of penalties won't help. Florida pulls off a nice win, handing LSU their first loss of the season.

FINAL SCORE:
#1 Florida - 13
#4 Louisiana State - 3

Before returning to the SEC, let me get to the Big Ten.

Iowa City, Iowa - Iowa Seeks to Remain Unbeaten when Big Blue Comes to Town
* Michigan {Wolverines} at #12 Iowa {Hawkeyes}
My Houston Cougars (explained later in this report) were once #12 before getting embarrassed by UTEP. How will Iowa do when Michigan comes to town. The Hawkeyes won't do Michigan any favors to get a new winning streak going. In fact, they (including the rest of Hawkeye Nation) can care less about Michigan's woes. That's okay, because Michigan doesn't need favors from anybody when they lose. The Wolverines will just try to play hard in starting a new winning streak. A streak continued alright, but NOT a winning streak. (30-28; #12 IOWA)

Starksville, Mississippi - Houston Tries to Rebound From Disaster Last Weekend
* Houston {Cougars} at Mississippi State {Bulldogs}
Houston would gladly take a mulligan against UTEP to try to head into this match still unbeaten. The Cougars will meet a bunch of puppies as Houston's road trip continues. The Bulldogs see Houston as easy, overrated, pickings. The only trick the Bulldogs were taught was play dead. (31-24; Houston)

Lawrence, Kansas - Jayhawks Brace Themselves for a Chance of Cyclones
* Iowa State {Cyclones} at Kansas {Jayhawks}
Time to talk about High-Test's Jayhawks. The University of Kansas is ready to stake their claim on the Big XII North. Standing in their way is Iowa State. The Cyclones are ready to throw down against Kansas. This gridiron tug-of-war was won by the Jayhawks. (41-36; #16 KANSAS)

Columbia, South Carolina - Wildcats Try to Feast on Some Fresh Poultry
* Kentucky {Wildcats} at #25 South Carolina {Gamecocks}
From High-Test to FoolKiller, now. Kentucky is ready to give South Carolina a wild ride, especially if the Wildcats can get it done today. The Gamecocks are ready to get cocky against Kentucky. Kentucky had a chance, but South Carolina shut the door in Kentucky's face to prevent an upset. (28-26; #25 SOUTH CAROLINA)

Knoxville, Tennessee - Volunteers Volunteer to Overrate UGA
* Georgia {Bulldogs} at Tennessee {Volunteers}
Ready to go is Volunteer nation converging at Neyland Stadium. You see, football is religion at Neyland Stadium. Every game is a mass to massacre any team that dares set foot thinking "victory over the Vols." The prey is usually an SEC predator- Georgia. The Bulldogs want to show that bulldogs are ALWAYS better than blue tick hounds. The boys in orange won in convincing fashion. This is a MUCH different Tennessee than earlier this season. (45-19; TENNESSEE)

Fayetteville, Arkansas - Razorbacks Aren't Afraid of Tigers
* #17 Auburn {Tigers} at Arkansas {Razorbacks}
NASCAR fans in Arkansas will see how Arkansas native, Mark Martin, will do at California on Sunday. Razorback football fans want to see Arkansas take down Auburn. The Tigers of Auburn University are ready to move higher and higher up the rankings. The only direction Auburn went was down... and in flames. (44-23; ARKANSAS)

Let's move on to the ACC.

Blacksburg, Virginia - Hokie Birds Meet Some Birds from B-Town
* Boston College {Eagles} at #5 Virginia Tech {Hokies}
This is an opportunity for the Boston College Eagles to tame the Hokies. VT laid the smack down on BC. (48-14; #5 VIRGINIA TECH)

Chapel Hill, North Carolina - Tar Heels Ready for Target Practice
* Georgia Southern {Eagles} at North Carolina {Tar Heels}
If Georgia Southern completely joins FBS, the Eagles will need to contend against teams like UNC. The North Carolina Tar Heels can beat Georgia Southern in basketball (men or women), and they hammered Georgia Southern like a nail. (42-12; NORTH CAROLINA)

Charlottesville, Virginia - Lowly Virginia Welcomes Some Hoosiers
* Indiana {Hoosiers} at Virginia {Cavaliers}
Cover your eyes and let your jaw drop in disbelief. The Cavaliers hammered the Indiana Hoosiers like they were Indiana State. (47-7; VIRGINIA)

Oxford, Mississippi - Alabama Goes West to Tame Mississippi
* #3 Alabama {Crimson Tide} at #20 Mississippi {Rebels}
The Crimson Tide ripped the Ole Miss Rebels a new booty with a Big Al-approved butt-whipping. (22-3; #3 Alabama)

Columbus, Ohio - Are the Badgers for Real? Only if they Beat Ohio State...
* Wisconsin {Badgers} at #9 Ohio State {Buckeyes}
This game was too good to be played in Madison, Wisconsin. So they decided to lock horns in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are looking to stay afloat in the Big Ten standings while Wisconsin is looking to beat Ohio State for the first time under their new coach. Wisconsin will have to wait until next year or so before getting another shot at beating Ohio State. (31-13; #9 OHIO STATE)

When doing this report, I didn't mention the Pac-10. So here is a quick rundown of Pac-10 action from today. I'm sorry I forgot to give you West Coast people some love.

* #13 Oregon at UCLA (24-10; #13 Oregon)
* Stanford at Oregon State (38-28; OREGON STATE)
* Arizona State at Washington State (27-14; Arizona State)
* Arizona at Washington (36-33; WASHINGTON)

Houston, Texas - Owls Try to Defend Home Ground Against Midshipmen
* Navy {Midshipmen} at Rice {Owls}
Weather conditions were favorable here in Houston, but not if you're a Rice Owl. It felt like Rice was getting pelted by heavy rain and thunderstorms when the Navy Midshipmen hammered them. (63-14; Navy)

Colorado Springs, Colorado - TCU Seeks to Remain Unbeaten Playing at Air Force
* #10 TCU {Horned Frogs} at Air Force {Falcons}
Boise State is inactive this week. So TCU's BCS Bowl chances are up for grabs. Will the Horned Frogs stay unbeaten, or will the Air Force Falcons knock TCU out of the air? [/B][/U]TCU won the game, despite Air Force's scare[/B][/U]. (20-17; #10 Texas Christian)

*** Big XII Texas Pack ***
You know Texas is your favorite state! ;) Here's how all four of Texas' Big XII schools did.

College Station, Texas - Aggies and Cowboys in a Showdown
* #15 Oklahoma State {Cowboys} at Texas A&M {Aggies}
Texas A&M's flagship university is in College Station, Texas; and home to the 12th Man Advantage. The Aggies are ready to tussle against some Cowboys from Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State will remain ranked as Texas A&M couldn't do much to halt their advances. (36-31; #15 Oklahoma State)

Norman, Oklahoma - Spunky Bears Seek Swift Justice Against Sooner Nation
* Baylor {Bears} at #19 Oklahoma {Sooners]
Sam Bradford was back in the saddle to lead his team to Big XII South glory. This could be a trap game since Oklahoma has to take on Texas next weekend in Arlington. The Sooners know they'll need to win out to make the BCS Bowl games. The Bears were just a bunch of teddy bears to Oklahoma. (33-7; #19 OKLAHOMA)

Lubbock, Texas - Red Raiders Ready to Get Red in Hosting Wildcats
* Kansas State {Wildcats} at Texas Tech {Red Raiders}
Kansas State headed into Lubbock thinking win. It's this Wildcat mentality that has them thinking they can beat anybody. Texas Tech brought the Wildcats back down to Earth with a Red Raider beat down. (66-14; TEXAS TECH)

Austin, Texas - Longhorns Shouldn't Look Ahead to Oklahoma Because Colorado's in Town
* Colorado {Buffaloes} at #2 Texas {Longhorns}
Oklahoma lost, as you read earlier. Will the Longhorns stand tall, or will both teams head into the Dallas area? The Longhorns shown up and stood tall despite the Buffaloes' advancements. (38-14; #2 TEXAS)

-end

One extra score, so I don't forget...
* Purdue at Minnesota (35-20; MINNESOTA)

Your favorite team probably won or lost. But did they make my Winners and Losers list?

Winners and Losers
Here are some notable games for you to think about big wins and big losses. Let me know which of these do you think is the biggest wins and losses of the week, even if it isn't one of the following:

Now on to UPSET and OWNAGE honors.

UPSET OF THE WEEK goes to...
...#1 Grand Valley State Falling Hard at Hillsdale![/B]

Upsets in FBS were boring, so go to D2 for a HUGE upset. The Lakers of GVSU didn't have enough to win on the road. Grand Valley State lost 27-24.

OWNAGE OF THE WEEK goes to...
...North Park OWNED 83-7 at #12 North Central!

At least North Park got a touchdown. Just too bad they got burned all game long!

There may be some awesome matches coming up in college football next week, including Oklahoma vs. Texas. Next week's thread will come along when it's done!

Another exciting Saturday of Big 10 action :

9th ranked O.S.U. made it look easy with a decisive win over Wisconsin by a score of 31 - 13.The Bucks scored from every angle,offense,defense (2 times),special teams.O.S.U. looks determined and has their eyes set on that Big 10 title.There are some possible roadblocks in the upcoming schedule though,Iowa and Penn. State. Two other teams who are just as focused on that title as well.The Big 10 is going to get very exciting here in the next couple of weeks.

A very well played game took place in Iowa city as the Michigan Wolverines went on the road and were determined to knock off the 12th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes.Big Blue gave it all they had but just came up short,losing by a score of 30-28.A very fine effort put forth by the U of M.This loss will pretty much take Michigan out of the hunt for the Big 10 title,but the Wolverines still have their eyes focused upon a bowl game.A great job so far by coach Rodriguez for getting the Wolverines to the point where they are at now,surpassing last years woe-full season of only 3 wins.Another year or two will put Michigan back in the hunt and make the Big 10 more interesting.Forcier benched,coach Rodriguez not to happy with his less than stellar play yesterday.Denard Robinson (another freshman QB who looks good) comes in and drives Michigan to a score.A last ditch effort (ill-fated interception by Robinson) sealed the deal in Iowa City.

#14 Penn State (this team has my attention) rolls over Eastern Illinois with a brutal beating by a score of 52-3.Joe Pa's Nittany Lions are looking very good and are in championship form.The Lions are not to be taken lightly.Penn State scored on a fumble recovery,QB Darryl Clark throws 3 TD passes,Jared Odrick led up the defense with 2 sacks,QB Jake Christenson was sacked 5 times total.The Lions had a season high 553 total yards,285 of it came on the ground.P.S.U. is someone to keep your eyes on.

Indiana gets hammered 47-7 by Virginia.Viginia racks up 536 total yards offense

Minnesota pulls off a nice win over Purdue by a score of 35-20.

Michigan State adds to the already woe-full season of Illinois by winning by a score of 24-14.

Northwestern beats Miami (Ohio) 16-6 to keep Miami winless on the season.

Virginia has been a pathetic excuse of a football team. Just don't tell Indiana that, though. Beat down city, baby.
