Here is your winner... and NEEEEEW National Champions- the Clemson Tigers! 'Bama been bested. And... this one wasn't even close once Clemson really got rolling. It was a 44-16 whacking of the Crimson Tide. Alabama probably wishes the National Championship was a best-of-3 or something to show they are better than Clemson. However, they weren't. The Clemson Tigers will be heading back to Clemson, South Carolina with another championship trophy.

Congratulations to both teams on excellent seasons. Thoughts on this game?

Ultra late but here it is:

It was over after the 1st half. Alabama had nothing to compete with Clemson. They were royally crushed in every aspect of the game and "Goldilocks" Lawrence played a near perfect game and showed a lot of potential (IMO).

I know Alabama is the Evil Empire of the NCAA, but Clemson is slowly making it's case to become the usurper of the throne. 2 wins vs. the Crimson Tide in the last 3 National Championship games is a testament of their capacity.
