Nobody would be so upset if they didnt love the game. Thats the problem. So much fun when it works.
 
Im not upset, im pissed off by being sold a unfinished game by money grabbing EA and slightly bag of s h i t studios! I think its a really good thing Zee doing with the online events its just a shame his efforts are being let down by the game.

Yeah, but Zee has much great series for us who enjoy the online racing part. The odd thing is, we never had many issues with the Legends series. Never seen the race start and the lights never start....thats totally new...to me at least.

I wouldnt mind, but time zone thing would be killer for some during the week.
 
Just to verify: I still didnt understand what happened in the race that me and Tex lead after 4 laps. Steve got hit 2 times but what happened then? Did he just leave? Or game froze?
 
I got kicked, after being spun twice i was catching fast untill i lost connection. There was plenty of laps for me to catch the front runners. So no i didnt just leave!!
 
Ok, thanks for clarifying. Then its ok - but in the future I pledge for no more exceptions to the "1st lap disconnect = restart" rule.

I dont mind the first lap restart. I do mind the 2+ lap doing well, restart. That restart should not have happened FLX.
 
Well mister, if you werent so goddamn fast, it wouldnt have been 2nd lap + restarts for you, so its your own fault! :D

Anyway, lets forget about the whole thing. Shall we meet 2 hrs earlier next sunday to complete those races? Or during the week? Id be down with a race on wednesday or thursday evening.

Wait a minute...did we have a restart at the first round? I thought we did a pace lap, then finished the race. I dont remember a first round restart at all, and Tex didnt even disco.

Hmmm. You mean Round 1 of the first race of this series...oh. I thought you mean the Dubai race yesterday, which was a great start.

Yes, the Nurb race was restarted many times, but none when you were on your last lap. Maybe 2nd lap, but not last.
 
The best part was everybody waiting for green lines.. an (almost) full grid and the cars won't go.. hilarious (NOT).

That and seeing two cars on top of my hood and me thinking "oh bollocks" but after all I just went through.

How the hell did I hit vaxx in from behind in the PACE LAP is beyond my comprehension.

My car RX8 was WAY TOO weird to control in a normal pace. I got a track penalty cut on the first turn before ended up sliding to the left.

My Z4 made was NOT with my tune. 1h before was perfect and it seemed OK in the 1st lap before restart. A new thing happened. Sometimes when down shifting, the car seemed like it was in neutral...

The rest is history.

I apologize to steve since it seems I was the cause for the 1st hit at Silverstone. I do remember going right (near the wall) as soon as the green lights were on but after that i just keep on the right side. This was on the second start.

In the 1st though, I remember going behind Steve who was behind Zeeko... Man that was intense. Trying not to hit anyone, I was driving looking at Zeeko's moves and I almost had a chance to pass both in on go but I though I rather not and keep us 3 running :D Anyway, its too much for my heart to handle but I'll do it again anytime.

To finish I though my PS3 died. For the 1st time I had to use the power button to reboot my PS3 while desperately trying to connect...

And damn tire wear... :lol:
 
mmm....tough one this...I won't be able to redo the races during the week and Vaxx is correct, the timezone difference is going to make it impossible for the US guys to participate. FLX's suggestion is to start earlier on Sunday and redo the races (and do another round 3 races afterwards). Could be a bit too much racing for one night. Fuzzy has back problems as you guys know, so I don't think it is fair on him.

I have the results of Race 1 which we all completed. So it is just Race 2 and Race 3 outstanding. I dont know what you guys think....redo all 3 races and carry on the following Sunday with 3 new races? 💡

Thanks Zeeco, but don't change anything on my account. Actually been doing pretty good lately.

I will go with whatever is decided (redo all, run unfinished before regular, etc.), other than a weekday run (timezone).

Im flattered, but that was me, not the Steve! Remember, I hit you and we both crashed out after the bridge when I swirved in the grass trying to avoid Zee... Thought I would have knocked out the whole Team ROFL and was like "FUUUU...", luckily there was a restart! :D
 
I don't want to drive my RX-8 again. If we do that race again and the car behaves the same, I'll pull over as soon as I can. I'm an accident waiting to happen with the car like that.

I'd like to see how the Bentley behaves online with so many people on the track :lol:

I know Steve will lap almost 30s in front of me IF he stops to chat mid-race... :nervous: But my Z4 was a mess also. It seems to be fine with fewer people BTW...

Prepare yourselves for a long session of racing dudes :)

Sunday 21/0/11 will start half an hour earlier than the usual time (7.30pm GMT) to finish Race 2 and Race 3 from last Sunday. To make things a bit easier for the routine schedule, Hockenheimring is the track for the next 3 races. Now I know what you guys are going to ask ' same GT3 car for 2 different track?' I think a break of 5 minutes is in order (after Race 2 and Race 3) to load your tune for Hockenheim :)

Get enough sleep before Sunday :scared:
