forget about the fact that soon you local law enforcement will be flying drones(possibily armed ones too) courtesy of the FAA, but your local law enforcement is getting is getting new toys courtesy of the defense contractors and DoD. Martial Law?

How exactly is this any different than the (possibly armed) helicopters(other than being waaaaay cheaper) and equipment they already have? Personally I would rather see extra military equipment being used to raid drug houses than sitting in a scrap yard somewhere rotting away.


Also, the bill was passed in 1997, nearly 15 years ago, surely if they were fixing to wage a war something would have happened by now.
