You have to have the PAL version of the game to change languages. Japanese and NTSC (North American) versions don't permit any change in its lingua franca.

ive done all but 1 of the manufacure races. all but the aclone race. right now its says about 97.__% or some shi)t. so i guess you really cant get 100.

Alcoyne = SVX

You're probably missing an Event Generator race; the trophies don't appear, but it affects the percentage.

yeah, i wish i had a ps2 to see what the other gt series is like, maybe someday :( i think i want gt3 just for the different camera angles it gives you in replays, cause watching drifting in gt2 is rather boring, oh well.

it's not really all that different from GT3. the camera angles are pretty much the same, except for that music-sync mode that usually inverts the colors ( :yuck: ). what makes GT3 videos better is the fact that everything isn't polygonal and pixelated.

in all the gt3 vids i see cameras do different things, example, move down the track in front of a car, then the car will speed by and the camera will rotate with it and watch it drive ahead

The one view that they missed out on in GT3 was the Overhead view i loved that view in GT2 was the bee's you still get all the front and rear fender views though..

The music sync replays are ok but get a bit annoying at times ..You want to see something particular on a lap and it gives you a crappy view ..But sometimes they look so real ..

GT3 has an overhead view, but it's a lot closer. you can only really see about 80% of the hood and the corner of the cockpit.

I'm in the same boat...Actually, I'm finding it hard to justify the purchase; I have less time now for video games. Maybe when GT4 comes out.

Does the greatest hits version have the drag strip in it?
No versions of the game have drag racing in it. It's not hidden, either; it was completely removed from the game (but not the manual).

There are lots of things that were never fixed between versions (event generator trophies), spelling errors, drag racing in the manual, wavering exhaust sounds, constant lap times between a series' races...lots of others.

About the only changes between versions are the Car Wash charges (50cr in any version, despite some that say 5000cr), The Taurus SHO race mod, and the completion percentage. I don't think there are any other noticable differences.
