I started a fire in my kitchen when I was six because I was playing with matches early in the morning before anyone was awake. When the trash can was flaming a few feet into the air I panicked and ran to wake my parents, after trying to put it out with a coffee cup. My dad threw the whole thing outside and let it burn out. I blamed the whole thing on my sister who was too young to defend herself, and too young to get punished to badly. It worked out pretty well for both of us.

Now thats a proper confession :D

I enjoy school. And I watch childrens shows all the time. Btw, I'm a senior in highschool.

That's not a bad confession, that's just awesome.

I still watch Tom & Jerry.

As a matter of fact, I still do a lot of stuff I did when I was a kid. I still play Lego if the oppotunity arises. I also prefer playing GT1 and 2 to anything after 3. Don't know why. I reckon it's because me and my dad have a lot of good memories from those games.

The good old TV Cartoons were the best like Megas XLR(Why did they had to stop it after the second season?), Tom & Jerry and a butch of other old cartoon shows.

I never watched cartoons. I always watched the discovery channel, or speed channel.

You are deprived child if you have never watched a cartoon programme. I'm sorry, that's how it is.

Go watch Tom and Jerry. Now!!

Some of the newer cartoons might be, but Tom and Jerry is awesome. So were cartoon shows on the WB, like The Animaniacs and Pinky and The Brain.

Tom and Jerry, Road Runner and Coyote, Sylvester and Sweety Pie etc are all the cartoons I used to watch and were great. The new stuff just isn't the same.

I grew up with all those. Wacky Races and Johnny Quest.

Sadly, my sister thinks cartoons are programs such as Hannah Montana. She dimissed T&J as "crap".

I damn near strangled her for that.

But Hannah Montana is soooooo awesome!!!!

What's with this whole "Almost strangling" thing? Saying modern drivel like Hannah Montana is better is the definition of a justified strangling.

Hannah Montana is live action, not a cartoon for starters. But I didn't pass the 'Almost strangling' remark for the Hannah Montana bit. I said it because she said Tom & Jerry was crap.

Besides, I was just joking.

You've never ever watched one?

Not even when you were like a few months old and your parents shoved you in front of a screen to occupy you?

Nope. Apparently, my first Televison experience was F1, and my mom says that in order to get me to shut up, She had to turn on the TV to anything with cars.

I've seen the channels for cartoons, Nickelodeon, Cartoon network, the like, but never switched to it.

You and I grew up on Jonny Quest repeats. Older members like TB grew up on that when it originally aired almost 30 years before you or I.

If they still showed the original "Rugrats" on Nickelodeon I would watch it at times maybe. :P I was much like Stig. I enjoyed watching the discovery and watching WRC races on T.V.

Nowadays TV shows like Flapjack sucks and its not even funny. Where is the violence and comedy? I hate parents who sued CN and other cartoon TV companies to make them go with the motto "Its for the kids safety". I watched Tom & Jerry when I was a kid and I'm sure not a cat who tries to kill a mouse from the TV show. I'm not violent in nature in most ways and I watched those classic TV shows which parents cite as "violent and uncivilizes kids". Well thanks to the parents we lost good Cartoon Classics to watch on the TV.

I grew up on the influx of anime shown on cartoon network. Beforehand it was Wacky races. Is it strange if I always wanted Dick Dastardly to win? :sly:

Maybe im taking it to literally but I doubt you have NEVER seen one. I never watched Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network or anything of like time due to not having them available but still.

Anyway back to Confessions!

And just how old do you think I am? :grumpy:

No peeking! :P

I'll give you a hint - my brother that graduated from high school the year I was born probably didn't watch Johnny Quest the first time around because he was only 5.

Confession time - I've never watched Johnny Quest in any incarnation, be it first run, syndication or other. I'm also not a fan of most of the older classic cartoons (Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, The Flintstones, etc.) and would be perfectly content to watch damn near anything made for non-cable stations in the 90's instead. Seems I skipped over my cartoon watching phase in the 80's and instead spent my time with shows like Airwolf, Quantum Leap, Greatest American Hero and MacGyver.

Greatest American Hero?

I've only seen JQ a couple of times only because they never aired it here or the time slot wasn't working with my schedule. Do I regret that? No. I always wanted to watch Gumby though and that never worked out either. Do I regret that? Yes. Loved it's creativity. No drug jokes. :dopey:

I did have one superstition in life that doesn't really apply much any more, but seeing as I've never believed in superstitions this is a confesion.

I always write "Holdens Rule" on every written test I ever take. I stopped doing it a bit in the first half of grade 12 and my grades slipped so I started again. For reference I got senior dux of my school and (Aussies will know this one) got an OP score of 2. No that's not a joke, that is my superstition.

Beater cars are great, I used to rally mine in self made tracks through empty paddocks, learn't a lot about car control and had great fun the same time.
