It's not like I said the test was exclusively representative of conservatives either.

Some liberals are *gasp* not anti-gun.

Yep, you're right - but it does represent not only what people think of most conservatives (the stereotypes) but it represents exactly the 'normal conservative.'

I'd say I can't be classified. My beliefs vary so greatly on so many different things, it's virtually impossible to put me in one group. I suppose if I had to I'd say I'm moderate - liberal.

the liberals here are spineless kiss arses. take a look at our prime minister embarrasing his country by saying that speaking in america was the pinnalce of his career...jesus i hate liberals.

REPUBLIC FOR AUSTRALIA, BLOW THE QUEEN OFF!

you know how the queen is never to be touched right?

our prime minister is the only dumb **** ever to be dumber than any dumb **** ever before his dumb **** days to touch her. he hurried her along by putting his hand on her back. how much of a dumb **** is he?

Yeah well Aussies are like that, she should have known better and had an aide brief him.

It would've cracked me up to see him walk up and give her a nice big snog. Like the one Reagan gave Maggie all those years ago. Hysterical!

you dont live in australia mate, you dont understand.

if you lived here and had to put up with his crap, youd want to shoot him too.

Hey, i live in England, and more specifically London.

Which means that i have first hand knowledge of the how a government can screw up.

Anyway, i reckon polotics should be scrapped, make running a country like a job, get the best man (woman, dog, cat whatever) possible for the given job and pay them appropriately. If they screw up, sack 'em, if they do good, give 'em a pay rise and bonus.

I've not thought about that too heavily so i'm sure it's open to comment, but let's hear it. Should be intresting.

Aaaah, democracy..... :D

Problem is that how would you decide if the ruler's doing a good job? Above that, no one could ever agree on anything - plus it'd be hell to find the 'best' person for the job.

reading this reminds me of something Robin Williams said on a broadway stand-up routine:

" ...George Bush, compasionate conservative, (laughing) what is that?, I don't know but it sounds like a Volvo with a gun rack."

Don't blame me for the joke, blame HBO
