Copying car noises & race day ambience?

It's kind of embarassing to admit but yes, I do it too only when there's no one near me or when I'm alone. No one knows that I like to make car sounds and I can make a sound of a Formula One car with EBD! :D

I once made an M5 V10 sound with backfire when I had a sore throat. Yeaaa pretty smart of me doing it when I have a sore throat but it happened and I did it almost perfectly! I can also make an on board sound of BMW M3 GT2, Corvette GT2, BMW Z4 GT3 complete with the transmission whine, high-pitch V12 F1 and many more. Usually if I want to make the sound even better, I do it in the toilet!

I do that when I want to imagine how my car designs should sound :dopey:

And the only person whom I allow to hear my car sounds, is my friend who also likes to do that :odd:

Engine noises, drift walking, drifting shopping carts, and F1 sounds on my trombone? Guilty as charged of all of the above, and I'm 18. :D

I like that I'm not the only one who does this :D And I actually ride the cart trollies as well. I'd even corner into aisles and speed at parts where's nobody

Hey at least it's something cool you are trying to imitate 👍

When I was very young (pre-school), I have been told I went through a phase of walking around like I was a steam train, arms for pistons, sound effects, even so far as to walk backwards (like a train into a siding) if I had to change direction when out on walks.

Everyone who thinks his engine sounds are good. You are wrong.
You sound like this:

With a small language warning.

That Beetle stall gets me every time:lol: And then the weed-whacker:lol::lol:

These are pretty good; they include even the nuances like a bad shift, and dropping something while shifting. I don't drive so I don't know the lingo.

I just tried it out for myself. I was doing it really loud, and forgot the window cleaner was right outside my room

I walk faster than people normally do just so I can "overtake" someone. If someone has a faster reaction at a green light while crossing the intersection, I speed up and pass them later on.

I 'used' my DRS and used KERS today, got some odd looks when I go "and he's opened his DRS, look at the speed as he overtakes this slow person".

You know what would be even less normal?

Attaching a speedo and RPM meter to your bicycle.

You know what's even less normal?

Holding a functioning speedo while running on foot.

Have you guys passed those digital screens that tell you how fast you're going? My dad wanted to see how fast he could run, and recorded something around 12-15 km/h. I tried it on my bike and did 34km/h.

So while you're silently running down the aisles with your trolley, you got 20 people running after you, 3 making tire screeches, 8 making engine noise, 1 making exhaust blow offs, back fires etc, and the rest responsible for the transmission.

Basically, yes.

I follow the racing line around the back of my school too. Seems the track path is a very flowing layout. :P Now I look at it I must look really weird... Goes back to Pics of yourself thread... Oh, forgot about that bit. :P

I would kill for that...

I do follow a racing line and overtake people while walking. It's quite a lot of fun when you're in a crowded high school corridor moving at twice the speed of everyone else.

Yeah, I do engine noises sometimes, but I can't do very many. I can imitate a Nissan 350Z, but that's about as specific as they get. I can also do a pretty good imitation of an old muscle car on wide open throttle; at least I think I can. Other than that, I can do a small diesel engine idling, a large diesel engine accelerating, and a riced out Honda with a turbo. :D There's a few generic ones too, that can probably fit stuff like Camries and Accords, you know, generic stuff. I think that's about it.

Do I make car engine noises? Check.

Do I drift shopping carts, while makine engine and tire noises? Check.

Do I make car engine noises when playing with a Hot Wheel or Matchbox cars? Check.

Do I make car or motorcycle noises with my electric guitar? Check.

How old am I!? 42.

Anybody here have a problem with that? Better not.

Do I drift shopping carts, while makine engine and tire noises? Check. Oh, and I push the forward extremely fast and make slam on the brakes.

Do I make car engine noises when playing with a Hot Wheel or Matchbox cars? Check. (Who doesn't?)

Do I make car or motorcycle noises with my electric guitar? Not yet skilled enough. Or At least I don't know how to yet.

I think I'll add the questions into the OP :D

Do I make car engine noises?
Yes, poorly.

Do I drift shopping carts, while makine engine and tire noises?
Yes. I work at Giant collecting carts, so that's just what I do to pass the time. I can drift 8 carts at a time. I'm almost ready to start a professional shopping cart drift team:lol:

*shrugs*If I cared what people think I wouldn't have a pony avatar:P

I'm thoroughly inspired now to load my son in the car and drive, whilst impersonating the car, to a dozen supermarkets and hoon around like a pair of larrikans!!!

"Look dad, no hands!" the young fella says as he goes crashing into that display of canned goods that took 3 hours to create

Mental note: apply for job as "trolley boy"
