Hey guys, CORE has a big announcement. The Global GT series has officially been opened and is available for sign ups. There are 3 seperate series set up for each Timezone (Australia / Europe / America) which means everyone has a chance to compete at a friendly time for them.

Practice Room has been open for about an hour now, but I had to duck away for dinner and dishes. But i still have the room open if anyone wants to join.

Grand Valley East Round 7 Stewards report

Lap 4 – ItzRacing – Killing-Heidi – Avoidable Contact
Verdict: Warning
While the actual contact doesn't result in damage, Heidi's car is destabalised and this causes him to run off the circuit later in the corner. As to the incident itself, Heidi has beaten Itz to the corner, so Itz should have been more careful not to run into the rear of the car ahead.
Lap 5 – evildragonxxl – ItzRacing – Racing Incident
Verdict: NFA
The 2 cars are side by side entering the turn and ItzRacing turns into evildragonxxl causing contact and forcing ItzRacing wide. As evildragonxxl did not change his line in any way it is not his fault and is a racing incident result from a small misjudgement of a turn in point.
Lap 9 – Killing-Heidi – evildragonxxl – Racing Incident
Verdict: NFA
Evildragon runs wide onto the kerb and loses control spinning into the path of Killing-Heidi who was unable to avoid contact.
Lap 16 – ItzRacing – evildragonxxl – Racing Incident
Verdict: NFA
ItzRacing completes the pass at turn 2 and leaves a car width on exit to avoid contact before evildragon runs into the rear bumper of ItzRacing with his front bumper, causing him to run wide. The overlap of cars when contact is made is very minimal and evildragon did not have the front of his car past the rear wheels.

Pit Entry / Exits
There are dotted yellow lines on the pit entry and exit that all cars will have to stay to the right of in the pit entry and pit exit if they intend to pit. If these lines are crossed there will be a penalty.
Use of Horns
In the last few rounds there have been drivers blasting their horns while sitting on the grid before a race begins. This sound shows up in the coverage on CORE TV and it sounds unprofessional to hear a horn on what is supposed to be a race car. We would like to ask all drivers to refrain from the use of the horn or to disable the use of the horn on their controllers/wheels.
Practice Rooms
I will be on holiday from Friday Night until the Saturday afternoon of the race, so I will be unable to host an official practice lobby for the upcoming round. If someone does want to put their hand up to host a practice lobby in my absence then I will update the drivers briefing with the details.
UPDATE: A training session will be hosted by Cobra75 in the CORE Club this Wednesday at 19:00 Bst
