The start of the new season beckons! I'm very excited!!!! Proud to say I'm starting my 2nd season in the CORE, hopefully I can build on the first and aiming for mid table respectability!!! :)

...Ok and maybe sneak a podium or two in somewhere, that would be nice :D

The thing is we have trouble finding people to race with us cause we are to fast. Sorry i came off as ragging to you, but i was just tryin to get my point across, Then labeled out of thin air after we been working really hard for this makes me a little upset. I was rushed on my text. Also have not even come to run with us if you wan to see how we run just ask. And we would be glad to show you. I race go karts in real life senior rotax canda just came second in world championship I run with all those guys in real life and I just looking for some fun in the winter and hard competition but seems to be hard.

If ur upset with the way I talked dont stop my teammates from running. They work hard to run an set up ur 2 cars picked for the series. You will miss out on good clean racers

Hope you can at least see us run its not are first race.

Also we race a German team with no problems. An you can ask them how fast we are an we saw no leg and if u want join my room I have alot of friends that race with us in gt500 cars all the time and they are alot faster then these little mx5.

Third, you speak better English than most of the natives... Of England that is, us Scots are of course perfect :D.

With the ongoing situation I think that you have to follow the decision of the guy running the series. What was said was said and Omnius took that the same way, I think, as most people did.

I think the Rebel crew need to move on and forget this, maybe a misunderstanding occured but it's happened now.

I'm sure with your super quick times you'll find somewhere to race, perhaps in the US based series that are running here?

Oh my oh my...

I've not been on Gtplanet for a few days because of work and I've got a lot to catch up with.

First thing, Omnius, great pictures, my car looks superb (being in the best looking colour obviously :P). All the cars are looking rather fine, to be fair.

Then, the Rebels. Sorry, no offence but I picked up a headache trying to read most of these posts. And I'm French... ( ;) Third)

Guys, I understand you are eager and probably are quick, but yeah, just follow along with what Omnius says. It's really hard work to organise a series like that and Omnius is good at it.

Have you taken part in a race with Omnius yet? If you haven't, then you're in a big rush. Reserving 3 spots for you in a successful series like this, with a lot of demand, it's a big ask. You better put things together to convince him.

Of course, my little view of this has its own value, as I've missed a few seasons.

Oh and sorry, but I can't see any legs most of the time when playing on GT5 either. And one's own legs don't count! :P

Totally agree on the leg. We are more then cut out for it. Rebel 4 is 50 and just like when I tell him what's up. 8 is from India so he not over seas and he reaches with us North American servers all the time. It's totally your call but to be honest you will miss out on a good series. If you have read what I wrote and I'm sorry it's all in text form cause I did all of this through my phone. Also didn't realize we get judged on are punctuation on a forum anyways. Lets race and have fun if you want to see how we drive and that we take racing serious. Give us a time and we will be there to show you what we are made of. Once again I'm sorry for trying to stand up for myself an my team mates. I tell them hey wanna run a serious they say yes to it so I posted on here they would like to join and they were accepted. I told the men and they went out set up the cars the way the race regulations where set. And been practicing were are all excited for the series. The 2 days before we get told we are not allowed in without even seeing us run. If I had any concern on how some racers race then I would ask them to join my room an show me how they drive. We are a very well respected team. People love to race with us cause we are fast clean an fair. Now that we had time to cool down and actually take sometime to let things sink in I think you should at least invite us to a room and see how things go then make your decision. Don't you all think that is a fair request. No heard feeling here. LETS START ON A FRESH FOOT.

I believe you want to talk about communication delay (lag) not the body extremity (leg). People go haywire here over grammar because everyone agreed to abide the GTPlanet forum rules and AUP (acceptable use protocol) upon signing up to this forum.

Boasting about speed helps nothing here... our group is mediocre at best what speed is concerned. I list my GTAcademy time for reference, and as you can see I was more than 2secs off the top guys. If you want to run with the real quick guys, I might suggest you head over to the guys at PURE. They offer very well structured events and all of them are fast (as in ~2sec a lap faster than me on any given track).

If you need another reference, maybe you can try the new GT500 time trial and see how your time compares to mine. I'm usually a good candidate for a podium finish here.

I have decided to start my own series if you would like to join a gt500 series let me know. thanks for the advise i will look into them.

also looks like you still have 3 spots just saying we have are cars ready and would like to put all of this behind us and have a good fun series. if you want those spots filled that is. We are also willing to join your room and show you we can drive clean and are good sportsmanship. lol

My legs go numb when we do enduros...

"Gentlemen, we are here, at the threashold of our first race of Season 6, I've been looking forward to this and I'm really happy with the cars and those who have made it into the CORE, we should see some really close racing, I just hope we don't have any awkward first corner accidents"
:nervous:

"I will see you all tomorrow around 20:20ish"
:)

(The following is in no particular order, we are all equal here, it's just the way the forum 'lists' photos!)

Time will tell.... "Gentlemen, start, your, engines!"

Thanks for the welcome.

The PSN "johnkiller" was created by my son John, and as all kids he played war games hence the name. When I started playing GT5 I just took his PSN. Now all my cars, etc is under johnkiller, so it will be a pain to start a new PSN, so I just have to live with this rather stupid for me PSN.

Welcome to the thread Johan!

Kids eh! I know what you mean though, not worth starting a new PSN off (now if only we could change our PSN's!)

Welcome to the new faces, look forward to sharing the track with you all.

Could well be the CoreGTi (international) this season.

CWS Reminder.... where you see this we will be running weather, I have decided the best way is to just have a 50/50 chance, so I will always have the weather at start set to 0% and the weather change set to 5/10 (dry track also)

If it rains during a Championship event, you are free to use the rain/inters as provided with your RH tyres. If it rains during a Club event, we remain on our Sport tyres (although there is nothing in the rules to stop you trying the Comfort tyres...)

As for the Northumberland Park Custom Tracks, for the benefit of the new boys, I upload these on my GT5 profile the week leading up to that event đź‘Ť

Ah yes, the rain on the Sports <3 I really found that fun :D:D

I liked that too! Would have been even better if I'd have realised they could be used in the rain instead of holding off to change onto inters that I never even had the option of changing to! Ahh all good experience and part of the learning curve!!!

My GT has bugged... Says that I need to reinstall the download file for the car pack. Any guidance?

Took the 86GT round GVE-R instead. Posted a 1:14.541. Only 0.9 behind my S2000 which has 26 more PP! I do think a 13 is very much possible. The wee thing is on rails!

Got it working! I just downloaded the pack again, didn't reinstall. And it works. It reset some of.my cara this problem :c my MX-5 only had 36 miles on it... Even so I tried out Monza. Threw a setup at it and was in the 1:58's consistantly with 1:58.559 aa the fastest. Now a day for Bob to run it in and all should be dandy.

I couldn't get online last night as PSN was down, but I was running 1:59's offline practice. Does it really make much difference between online and offline? I know there is a big debate about it but the mx5 doesn't feel any different online to offline, to me at least. Oh well I'll see later I guess!

Given the powerfull slipstream, races at Monza are often close and exciting. This is my first race with this group and lap times at Monza is much dependent on how aggressive you take the curbs I just want to understand prior to the race what rules this group are using.

Most groups I've been racing with use the rule that minimum two wheels has to make contact with the track at all times. What is sometimes different is what accounts as being part of the track
1, The painted curbs (normally red/white) is part of the track
2, Only the tarmac counts as the track.

Most leagues uses #1 above and it makes for quite aggressive curb taking. Just wanted to make sure prior to the race what rules you are using.

Anybody have any advise what gearing will be slipstream safe. Did some laps yesterday using 270kmh (169mph) but I think it might be too low racing. Maybe about 280 (175mph) is needed.

Looking forward to the race.

Red and white bits all the way, 2 wheels on that is fine :)
