I find judging the rain easy, just count how fast the percentage indicator is rising in seconds, then estimate how long it'll take you to get back to the pits and then you will work out which tyres to be on. If my pitstop hadn't been glitched I would have judged it perfectly
Only easy as long as it isn't changing though. And how fast the change is up and down depends on the settings. :P someone made a really thorough explanation of the gt6 weather in the le mans-thread.

Yeah, so far the only settings i have found to have a steady increase / decrease in weather is to have weather change on 0 or 1. Any higher and you get the hyper saturation.

I just realized that my team may have won GTE overall. But somehow I think niko's team won. Someone help me. :boggled:

I don't exactly know how much it was between us, but I think I was 2 laps behind at the start of the race and that I won by more than 2 laps over your team mate. But I might be wrong.

You did but your team mate got a lot of pit line penalties so it's going to be tighter that originally thought

Oh fudge I thought that was calculated in to those laps. We're probably screwed then but will be interesting to see.

Well I ran some first laps at the Nürburgring GP/F last night.

1'40.889 (1'41.+ to 1'42.- on average.)

Has anyone else ran yet? What are relative LMP times?

Oh and for the commentating on the livestreams, for the weather couldn't you just say that the teams are saying that rain may be on the way but may not last long etc because CORE HQ sounds a bit weird.

Just checked the replay and damn that Audi is fast on the straights, no wonder that I'd enter Eau Rouge totally safe and by the braking zone for Les Combes he's on the outside and can't even stay close to it in the tow either. Car handled the best it has all season though, not so much in the early stages of the race but in the night it was wonderful.

Also amazing how much lower the Audi was in the wet, just couldn't get on the power. His lap times were 11 seconds slower and despite having barely any throttle it snaps.

Think I've finally got over losing that extra point...
First time i've finished off the podium in the Ford. Really gutted as it was a double points round too. Such a disappointing way to finish the 'extended weekend'.
