With the setup we run here the lower the rear ride height is the more the rear slides, I'm just playing with DF, LSD and Ride Height and small changes to gearing.
This track has a ton of grip though so I actually picked up pace when I took of the DF now I just need an oil change and chassis rebuild cuz that race brought me down to 695hp :ill:

@aboe @andp132 I want you guys to stay as a team, It looks like there is a possibility we could have the WEC live streamed so i will need that final spot cleared for live stream use

OK cool, not a problem.
I guess this means that the other 908 (the one I was originally driving) now becomes available. So, is it possible that both myself and Andro switch to using that? As I was hoping to switch back to using it anyway, once race three had passed and we'd both found new team mates...

Anyone know what a good time for the GTEs are or is it only the LMP guys that start practising this early? ^^

@memto89 or you could split the fortbo and FRT team and assign them to both of the Andro aboe team. But I think that goes against the sprit of both teams but your call. :)

I'm hoping the RX7 is a bit easier to drive around Daytona than my R8 is... Won't have time to practice until next week at best :(

Seriously the car is a dream to drive, just need to find a good way to remain consistent with the way I take the chicane.
the staightest way possible it's fastest but risky you have to go over the bumps and it may set your car the wrong way but when you pull it off it's about a second faster than squaring off the corners

Also, I was practicing today and was managing low 29s before the stop havent tested much after.

I got a 1'40.240 min after some testing with post glitch tyres, could get under 1'40 with some little setup tweaks :)
However, I think Caine beats that time :D
I would say guessing by our GT3 specs + pace that times here will be under 1'40, but I am yet to test. I might be faster over a single lap, but your stint pace was incredible at Indy 👍

I ran 3-lap races at 500PP last night until 3 in the morning. I haven't played GT like that in forever and it felt great! Random Tati comment: over.

Edit: WAIT! I lied. Also completely unrelated is that Performance BMW Magazine featured one of the cars from our shop. We got the cover! I'm just so proud that I'm sharing it with everyone I know. Sorry @memto89 :nervous: http://dualangriff.com/index.php/blog

Ok, carry on.

I think turn 1 is a lot more narrow then it was on GT5, specially with how violent the bump on the aprin can be going past the nascar pit exit,

I'll need to have more testing on this one, I have a lot of understeer in the first corner, I'll maybe do something with the ride height

This track i going to be a tricky one to get consistent. Bus stop and first corner just don't want to cooperate with me :P
Agreed. I think I have potential to improve my lap times on those two areas, but you push it just a little too far and you pay for it.

Points and Penalties are now finished. Remember that stewarding is done by a panel and is checked and confirmed by multi pal people, and is designed not to attack someones driving but in order to help you develop your driving. If you disagree with a result do not argue your case on the thread but rather PM myself.

Points and Penalties

Race 1

Lap 12 - Nin-Chin - AJHG1000 - Racing incident
Verdict: NFA
Although an unfortunate situation, there is nothing to reward a penalty. It was clear that the BMW driver after having an off track excursion, rejoins the track with plenty of space and at a reduced pace, only to find the tyres are very dirty, thus spinning them up and changing direction unintentionally.

Lap 12 - AJHG1000 - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 16 - AJHG1000 - Driving standards
Verdict: Warning
You MUST hold your line when an LMP is coming, on lap 16 going down the back straight you are the on the right hand side of the track when nin is approaching, you then switch over to the left hand side just before he is about to overtake you, Please DO NOT do this in the future, Stay on one line.

Lap 17 - memto89 - WIDFO - Racing incident
Verdict: NFA
Just a simple hop on the curb shots the GT car into the LMP, Nothing meant by it just a simple accident.

Lap 19 - Fortbo - White Line (pit in)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 23 - AJHG1000 - White Line (pit in and out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 30 - Fortbo - Memto89 - Avoidable contact
Verdict: 60 secs
Braking into turn one memto89 was hit from behind by the other Audi driver resulting in massive damage and time loss.

Lap 30 - Iwasere - TDZdave - Avoidable contact
Verdict: 60 secs

Lap 34 - Cobani - White Line (pit in)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 36 - AJHG1000 - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 47 - AJHG1000 - White Line (pit in and out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 50 - Cobani - White Line (pit in)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 53 - TDZdave - Richyboy2mil - Racing incident
Verdict: NFA
Although damage was caused it was a combination of dirty tyres and unsighted driving that caused the small incident.

Lap 53 - Richyboy2mil - Whit line
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 57 - Widfo - White Line (pit in)
Verdict: 30 secs

Race 2

Lap 3: Start: Clean, STaLLiOnO, eDirtyTati very late on brakes into T1, almost cause accident. STaLLiOnO then cuts back across the track into the path of other cars.

Lap 8: ZovomirVanBasten - STaLiOnO, redbullrider20: Zovo,
Verdict: Avoidable Contact: ZovomirVanBasten +60
While STaLLiOnO does wobble slightly, he doesn't completely block the track. Zovomir has time to react but decides to try and drive around the outside rather then lift, hits the wall, bounces into STaLLiOnO, who then collects redbull.

Lap 23 - Stalliono - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 38: ZovomirVanBasten - GTPL_Plotnik:
Contact: ZovomirVanBasten +60
Zovo, Plotnik leaves you room into T6, putting him on the inside into T7. You fail to make the pass and you simply turn into him. Verdict: Avoidable

Lap 40 - Stalliono - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 47: redbullrider20 - Glen-Alz-81:
Verdict: Racing Incident: NFA
redbull, you are too late on the brakes into T4, however Glen doesn't seem to be damaged from the incident and is not hindered noticably,

Lap 50 - Stalliono - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 53: LEFT4DEAD_NL - STaLLiOnO:
Verdict: Avoidable Contact: LEFT4DEAD_NL +60s
LEFT4DEAD_NL, You outbrake yourself into T8 and hit STaLLiOnO who is taking his rightful line.

Lap 54 (jonnyb1990): STaLLiOnO - jonnyb1990:
Verdict: Accident, STaLLiOnO Driving Standards 1/3

Lap 66 (LEFT4DEAD_NL): STaLLiOnO - LEFT4DEAD_NL:
Verdict: Avoidable Contact: STaLLiOnO +60, Driving Standards 2/3
STaLLiOnO, You not only almost cause a big accident into T8 by massively out braking yourself on a car that is a lap down, but then seal the deal and hit him into T9 in an almost perfect reconstruction. It is not acceptable to drive so hard when you are around other cars, let alone those who are lapping you.

Lap 75 - Stalliono - White Line (pit out)
Verdict: 30 secs

Lap 81: GTP_Caine - STaLLiOnO:
Verdict: Unsafe Rejoin +60
Caine, Upon your rejoin, STaLLiOnO waits for you since he is laps down, then you spin into him on the turbo boost. We were all warned about being careful upon rejoins.

If you wish to switch then do so but due to your teams gold driver standings I may have to enforce a performance penalty in order to level out but I will let you know once I get more data from races
