Wait so you're allowed to drive for another team to help them earn distance and laps while in the other race you can race for your own team scoring points from your team and helping the other lone driver by standing in to add distance.
I might do that sometime for GTE whenever I'm actually free on a Sunday.

If @P1K3Y_M1k3Y is host you need to be on his list to get in. Just because @memto89 is in the room that doesn't mean that his friends can join. I think that may be the problem.

well that race didn't go the way I planned had a car fast enough for second but too many mistakes luckily I was able to obtain 3rd with out being to far behind 2nd I hope.

Really bummed out by my race tonight. Felt I had pretty good pace and thought I could challenge for a podium maybe. Problems started with quali where I was missing all my dials so couldn't see any speeds or revlimiters or anything, so i missed shifts all the time and only got the hang of it when my tires were dying all ready. Got a decent lap in for doing it as late as I did though and was pretty consistent so still saw the same chances.
Got away pretty good in the race. Opponents fell off the road and I was keeping up with the others. Then first time in to bus stop I forgot to compensate for slip stream and I crashed and got damage, had to let everyone by and then pit.
When I came out again I was just a little bit ahead of the lmps and soon nin came. We misunderstood each other and I almost took him out, instead I went off in the next corner and lost another 20 s letting all the lmps by.
After that I was really worried every time an lmp came up so got insecure and caused more moments, one was with chozza who I managed to block so bad that he ran in to the back of me. Really really sorry about that. I got massive damage there so had to pit again.
Had a pretty good end to the race but it was impossible to catch anyone. Bummer. Hope my team mate can save the race for us.

I had a bit of a tough race. Couldn't reproduce my practice form. Mid race I have it a good go to find that form and took heavy damage on turn one. The car was almost undrivable. It took me over 4 minutes to finish that lap, during which time the field lapped me twice!
Oh well. The american tracks are not my favourite (apart from laguna seca), so I am hoping for better form later in the season.

I just realised that I basically ran a 3 stopper except I crashed so much that I had to do 6 stops. But with my 18 lap stint i had in the end I could have made it on three stops easily. Plans were to do 4 though but those extra stops got me a bit out of that window and I stretched the last two instead. Would have been interesting to see how a 3 stopper would have worked out if I did that cleanly ^^
Edit: realised that I counted the first stop as one of my stops now ^^ so I only did 5 real stops and some of the GT cars actually only did 3 real stops so wouldn't have been all that interesting anyway.
