For the first time this season I feel like I'm part of the crew. Since I've actually practiced on this track, I can get 1:41s, 1:42s are way more consistent though. I could probably go faster if I knew how to tune worth a damn. On another note, I threw down :41s no problem in the BMW with my Brands Hatch tune with a higher top speed allowance. I bet that thing can be made to get :40s or below.

But without the tire glitch, the car is very unstable, unfortunately

We'll I have a "clean notebook" entering Monza. I have never driven the BMW competitively before. My problem with it is it's LSD. I know I can run consistent 41's but that is not good enough for me. I have to be faster

Hello,

I've been running around Monza and have noticed that everything seems really bright. Coming out of the pits the track is a bit white and makes the pit exit line harder to see. On other parts of the track it is the same.

I had a go playing about with my TV picture settings but I can't get the track to go blacker. It looks like it's graphics representing sun glare but I was just wondering if this is the same for everyone and if so how did you get rid of it? Possiblly change picture settings in the PlayStation and not TVs picture settings?

Did you try pausing the game and going into the quick settings to change the exposure?

Thanks, I will try that soon and let you know.

Did you have that "bright" problem too when you first used the game? You see I've only used GT6 a few times since in came out and haven't got everything the way I like yet.

I don't remember back when I first got it.

I didn't have a problem on GT6 but I had glare issues on GT5

Only had issues at Willow Springs because the sunlight blinds you at the end of the first sector, I normally turn my brightness up a touch but I left it normal because of that.

Ok So has matt released the drivers brief yet for Monza? Because there are alot of places where an advantage can be gain by cutting the track.

He has.

Drivers brief
Total time: 2:00:000
Weather
Saturday: Sunny
Sunday: Sunny with possible showers

Notes:
Update, The new update has brought some changes to the WEC, we will now ono be doing 1 pace lap as there is no need for the pitstop.

Track limits, two wheels on track at all times.

Pit lines, I said it last time out, pit lines are harsh in WEC and if your wheel even touches one then it will be 30 sec penalty. You must stay away from them, if one person can take a pit stop without touching the lines then its possible for everyone.

The problem with Willow is the pitch black night time. Almost impossible to see without raising brightness.

but what counts as the track here because if we watch any race at monza IRL the cars go for tires over the white line in the second chicane and use the blue as the track line and if you turn on penalties they alow you to put two tyres over the blue and tyres on the green.

There will be a practice lobby open this evening

Would it be possible tonight to run through (practice) the qualy and race start. I'm thinking just a short qualy (enough time for 2 or 3 laps) and then do a warm up lap and a few racing laps (5 laps or so).

I only ask as I haven't done many race starts and would like to go through the whole process. I guess we would all get a feel for the run down into the first corner as well.
