Didn't get to practice at the time I wanted to, but I've done it regardless. I'm interested in knowing if the room will have any significant changes after the last update from what I remember has added something for timed races.

Announcement:

As I'm sure everyone is aware, there has been an update for GT6, some of the updates will change the way the WEC is run.

1. We will be running to a time limit not laps

2. there will now only be 1 pace lap

3. Qualifying will be held all together, but will start from the pit lane

If you keep uptodate with the thread and drivers briefs you will see that has all been covered, the changes have been made to account for the update including the 2 hour time limit not laps, you also need to add your name to the list for Sundays race and talk to your team mate to make sure you know what is happening

Well he let me know earlier that the race was this weekend and that he'd be on for practicing so we already have been communicating. I haven't kept up with the thread as much as I liked due to being busy so I wasn't aware.

Not always, they manage it in real life and that's with far more cars (normally)

Problem is you don't actually have a set braking point for the first corner since you arrive there in a completely different speed compared to every other lap.. but yes please be safe in to first corner.

Simple, brake before the guy in front of you does. Waiting for his lights to come up will end in disaster.

Just be a bit cautious and tap the brakes lightly and release them if the cars in front pull away.

Easier said than done mate, our car is so slow on the straights compared to the others, in the practice race yesterday i was tucked up behind Matt's Bentley and even when glued to the back of it coming out of parabolica I was no where near it by Turn 1. Looks like we're going to have to be a bit crafty in this race.
