The C6 gen. was actually a good step in the right direction if you ever had a chance to see the previous 2 generations.

Agree but having no upgraded seat option killed it. Even the CTS-V had a recaro option. Why the ZR1 not even offering it made no sense to me. Atleast the C7 finally addresses all the interior complaints 👍

As I recall, they made those seats available this year. For the last year of the C6. Very confusing as to why it had taken this long, after nearly every review of the car, in any form, complained about how flat the seats were.

Overall, the modest price increase seems pretty reasonable. As I recall, it's about $2000 more than the current base model, and given the significant performance increase that meets or exceeds the current Grand Sport, you're getting a good bit of bang for your buck.

I'm curious to know what the interior is like without the $8000 leather option. That could be a bit concerning.

Those Recaros won't fit though in the C6, & add a lot of weight. They also would require more crash test rating to see how the occupants stand up in the car with different seats that don't have side-impact airbags, which is a standard feature on the Corvette.

Hmm it's priced around what my car is worth to me.(price of car + put into it)

I just can't get over the rear. :indiff: The front is excellent though.

I don't think a regular Corvette C6 was only 3200 pounds. Maybe, like, a stripper base model, but if you got any notable options packages (like the Grand Sport package) that'd shoot it right up to 3300 easy.

It's good for any modern car period. I mean in comparison my car is about 3,100lbs and it's not all that big.

And here is a picture.

Mentioned a while ago.

Also, I've seen probably half a dozen of these on the road, and they look much better than the C6

They lost me after the C5. Still hoping one day I can pick up a nice '04 Z06.

Love my C5Z06. I will prob upgrade to the C6Z06 but that would be the only reason I would ever sell the C5Z. The new C7 should drop the C6Z price as well.

I like the C7 stingray but certain aspects on the rear I'm not thrilled about (mainly taillights and rear being half black instead of a solid paint color) I love the front, the interior, and suspension and handling will be quit the leap forward from C6.

Here's to waiting for the C7 Z06/ZR1 though.

For a base model Vette I'm quite pleased with that. Especially that torque number. Quite the improvement over the LS2 in mine.
