Esplain', how do you get 49 out of this?

49 days = 7 weeks. 007 on the side off the car = 7 then X 7 weeks = 49 days. Thats what he was getting at even though it's 48 days now.

I like many of you can really remember waiting since the launch of ps3 for this thing. Remember that? everyone was like I want my money back because gt5 was surpose to come out that march! Talk about suspense

Fair dinkum mate, I would really like to know how many of the top 80 (first 4 pages) or so, of the most wanted ideas / features, are confirmed or will eventually be in the game on release. Just to, y'know, see how lucky we are to get what we really wanted in this amazing game.

I know at least 7 of the top 20 are already confirmed (maybe more, I have only just started following again after a bit of a break from GT)

Would anyone be so kind as to help clarify which of these features have made it? Maybe even start a thread for me as Im not able to.

I got my Iphone for $99 with Telus. It's the Iphone specific plan that sucks, $107 a month. This is not a contract btw.

that is why you need to specify your counting system...or not! LOL
most are counting that it was 50 days to GT5 when you posted pic. with the 13th as day 50, 14 day 49, etc. etc. with the count reaching zero on Nov2 (if I counted correctly LOL).

I kinda like it but I'm not sure it's worth $107 a month. With the delivery job I have in line I'll be using the map feature a lot and might even get the Tom Tom app. I'm kinda used to all the features now so it might be hard to downgrade but if I have to worry about money then my iphone plan is the first thing to go and ill get some $40 a month normal plan.

It's pretty much +$67 for me to enjoy the iphone benefits and so far I like it.

Nov 2nd can't come soon enough. I can't wait to check out the used car lineup and make my omnipotent first purchace.

What about media servers? I guess the constant hand-holding required in network traffic might incur a small overhead on hard-disk streamed music, but it can't be that bad?

3. Improved sound is still up for debate; there is little (or rather, not enough) supporting evidence, really.
9. Point to Point routes are confirmed in the Course Generator; some of the themes will be dirt / snow based - not quite "rally", but close.
11. Road Surface and Feedback is apparently improved in the latest demos, as compared with GT5 and the TT demo.
14. Bumpier tracks are probable; the extra detail possible in the track mesh (and underlying point cloud data), combined with the improved feel will probably make this a "yes".
16. A "livery editor" is not going to be in GT5.

EDIT: I've also just realised that Europe gets GT5 17 - 18 hours after Seattle... 20 - 21 hours after New York...
That must mean the Japanese release is similarly delayed, to account for the time difference; i.e. 4th of November.
Except that it's also the 3rd of November... So Japan gets it 9 - 10 hours before Europe. How strange.

and i don't see how when you made the post you speculated that it's the 17th in most of the world ... again ... FALSE.

most of the world is ahead of you. when i made the post it was the 18th (after midnight so it was the 18th).

additionally, the states/canada are getting the game b4 other regions so our countdown will be the lowest. all your logic is just ... blah. you really should've thought it out before even posting. but it's ok, counting's not for everyone apparently.
