Great racing tonight fellas, thanks @Zakspeed_TV for arranging it. I've got a couple of videos to upload here in the morning, can't atm as Playstation Network is undergoing mantainence lol!
Feel sorry for you @SpaceBreed that you couldn't do the race for your shoulder, let's hope you can next time!
It was good to finally get on track last night with some of you guys... or rather Aliens!
I must find out from @Zakspeed_TV if there is much tuning improvement to be found, or do i just need to be braver with those curbs!
Unfortunately I had a rather lonely race, i contemplated slowing up when I come upon the once of the incidents in the last corner, but was trying to find improvement with my time, so kept going. Also the Wife was still chattering on, so my focus was compromised .
Side note, I came across those track surface parameters again... see below
[DUSTY]
SESSION_START=86%
SESSION_TRANSFER=50
RANDOMNESS=1
LAP_GAIN=30
DESCRIPTION=A very slippery track, improves fast with more laps.
[OLD]
SESSION_START=89
SESSION_TRANSFER=80
RANDOMNESS=3
LAP_GAIN=50
DESCRIPTION=Old tarmac. Bad grip won't get better soon.
[GREEN]
SESSION_START=95
SESSION_TRANSFER=90
RANDOMNESS=2
LAP_GAIN=132
DESCRIPTION=A clean track, gets better with more laps.
[FAST]
SESSION_START=98
SESSION_TRANSFER=80
RANDOMNESS=2
LAP_GAIN=700
DESCRIPTION=Very grippy track right from the start.
[OPTIMUM]
SESSION_START=100
SESSION_TRANSFER=100
RANDOMNESS=0
LAP_GAIN=1
DESCRIPTION=Perfect track for hotlapping.
-Session Start is the starting grip in %
-Session Transfer is the amount of grip that will transfer from say Qualifying to Race.
-Randomness example - Green can start from anywhere between 93% & 97% (95 session start plus or minus 2)
-Lap Gain is how many laps need to be driven on track for the grip to go up by 1%. All cars on track count towards this number so for example if Lap Gain is 20, 1 car would need to drive 20 laps, 2 cars would need to drive 10 laps each, 5 cars 4 laps each, 20 cars 1 lap each, etc.

Yes hobbsy it was good fun all round, fun battles as you could see in my videos above, and yes that was me at the last corner after being tagged by Scottish""""""" his PSN, but no worries and all fun.
Those track variations are interesting, thanks for the info!
I hope to be back on early next week for some racing!! I really need to get to the level i once had lol!
