And SimFX Bassa on a 50.099.

There some pacesetting there. And yes @nosoks, you're being missed from the TTs already. try and set a time when you can sir! ;)

Knockhill is a great track, but not with this car :D I had most of my laps invalidated and I crashed on my 5th lap, but here is my best time so far:

Edit: A new personal best:

This car is tricky because you have to know where your braking points exactly while trying not to overheat the brakes. I don't think I could improve my time any more without loosing my sanity :D

Btw why do I feel that if you are using pedals you have +20% more acceleration?

Very tricky and it doesn't like the bumpy chikanes. Pretty happy with it though. Probably can improve one or two tenths if I can get it all together but all in all ok. One thing I find really lacking is the feedback and the feel I am having of driving on ice. Never there is an actual sense of grip  and after the finesse of AC I find the drivingmodel a letdown. Can't exactly pinpoint why I feel this way ...awkward...maybe I need more time

Still had fun with the machine on track :D since those classics never bore 👍

How on Earth can you be that smooth in the first chicane? When the weight transfer is over there is a big instability with the car so I have to counter-steer to balance it. That is next level magic for me :D

I have no clue to be honest but I brake quite heavily, release brake before turn in and keep foot a bit on accelerator. Also I try to be as boring as possible with the steering input

How long are you guys playing PC2 if I may ask?

I got the game on release day (22nd Sept 2017) and have done around 250 hours so far.......I want to do more league races, but life has been getting in the way recently, and public lobbies are ghost towns nowadays.

 well that is much more than my 3 hours

Impressive to put that in one game. Your speed is understandable quick 👍

If I enjoy a game it will get a fair amount of playtime! That said pC2 is, by a long way, my most played game on Steam - I know it's not everyone's favourite but it hits a lot of my personal sweet spots in a driving/racing sim, and for me at least it has the most satisfying pad handling I've used.

Oh - and as you're new to the game I guess that means you haven't driven Knockhill before. Great time man!

250 is a lot as well. In DRIVECLUB I have 270 hours and that is in almost 3 years. I started PC2 a week or 2 ago but have barely driven. I switch quite often between multiple games to keep things fresh for myself. I don't do online (did loads in the past with GTRP) anymore since my interest has completely faded for mp and also family life makes it pretty much a hassle to dedicate to mp. The TT are a lovely middleground 👍

@gregc I know Knockhill from TOCA2 and Toca Race Driver (ps2), that's the last time I've driven it.

I can see why PC2 ticks many right boxes and you have so much choice that many can find something to enjoy. For me it are the older cars.

I had a go, the thing is good a drifting, very torquey!!! :D

48:876! You have to be careful on the exit of corners, a lot of wheelspin, and not brake too hard, otherwise they just lockup!

An outboard view, and then onboard! :P

I think there's a little more time, just a case if I have time to go again!

I reckon my PCars 2 play time is only as high as it is because of all the farting around with FFB settings! Had to make some big changes to get the GT40 comfortable-ish on this bumpy track. @gregc doesn't have that excuse :P

I did play it on PS4 a little before I moved to PC so I quickly recalled roughly which way Knockhill goes, but it was in something tame like a Ginetta GT4 which was nothing like this beast. I'm still not brave enough to use first gear out of the last corner :nervous: and I forgot I could use the pitlane exit, so hopefully I'll have another try later.

I envy you PC users... You got proper filtering and leaderboards based on each car in PC2 (not to mention the better graphics, mod-ability, VR, triples etc..)

I run the game on a potato, so no better graphics or VR for me :P
The leaderboard filtering is a great thing though, especially when you are in the top with that vehicule. Unfortunately modding is very limited with PC2, Assetto Corsa is much better in this category.
