CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

OK so the first event in the current CRAP Dirt Rally Club season has now finished and the results are in.

We are going to use this event as the first one using our own scoring system which allows competitors below 10th place to score points, unlike the official racenet league page.

Scoring will go as follows, first place will get the same number of points as the number of entrants who complete the event down to 1 point for the last place.

Here then are the standings after Rally Germany

Whoops, forgot to finish the rally. Must try harder....

I think I had a pretty good run yesterday in Sweden, but the tune I put on it wasn't so good. In the last stage, I made the diff a bit stronger in my Fiat 131 thinking it would increase stability - it did, but only on the fast parts. On the slow sections, it was quite slidey. All things considered, I had a satisfying rally.

I don't touch the tuning yet. I like most cars as is so far. Is it easy to tune?

Well that's my run at Sweden complete. That was both hard work and fun, plenty places I should have pushed harder and 3 places I crossed the limit but managed to get away with out loosing too much time. Another rally I haven't done before and so was done purely on the notes. I don't think I will keep first by the end of the season but I'm happy with my effort.

Well I must be getting better I'm first in the latest hill climb (mind you no one else has had a go yet). I did manage to do the stage without going off which is an improvement. That Peugeot is a lot of fun.

The 405 is definitely the best balanced car, great fun. Well done on managing to put a time in!

Sorry JSB I have set a time slightly quicker than yours.

Without looking I would expect something around a 3 minute or less.

Off to see now.

Edit, nearly. 3:09

I'm happy to be in the same minute. I guess I could go a bit quicker with my wheel but I was on wigglestick. Are you using the default tune or have you delved deeper?

And @esio trot that's a fine time.

I haven't touched any of the tuning options in the game yet so the car is completely stock mate.

I certainly couldn't match your time on "wigglestick" as you put it, so well done to you.

Ditto. There's no way I could even keep it on the dirt with a stick so IMHO that's a super time JSB.

Don't think I could make it to the line without the practice run, mind you the practice runs made no difference in the snow, it just changed which snow bank I hit

One of the big problems with the Dirt leagues at the moment is it only gives your total time. I am currently working on a spreadsheet which will allow me to give all the individual times from each stage and rankings also. Codemasters is aware of this issue so hopefully this is only a stop gap arrangement.

Hope you don't mind JSB but I have setup another season which will run for a month. I will have to let you take over from then as I will be into my busy season at work.

No problem mate. If anyone else wants to help set up some events them let me know. I can then add you as a moderator/administrator.

Well my plans for stage times and an official league table just went up in smoke as soon as the current season ended. I can't access any of the stage times or the overall times which is very poor Codemasters!

Sorry everyone.

Here are the standings from racenet.

The next season consists of 4 events the first 3 consisting of 6 stages. The season runs for the next month so have fun crappers!

I was lucky that I finished 8th in the last event, so my final position in the championship doesn't look too bad...
