CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

Gentlemen! I'll get on this soon...this weekend, my fridge died a day and a half after having done groceries, my back brakes in my real car fell out...literally, and one of my cats is sick...so between the mechanic, shopping for appliances and trips to and from the vet...I haven't had time.
Definitely no high hopes over here, but I hope to actually finish a darn rally this season

I was going to set my first two stage times this evening but appears the playstation network is down. Aaaargh, was setting some good times in my practice runs.:indiff::ouch:

Well managed to get onto the network and started the event. Made a right mess of stage 1 when I accidentally changed the camera/view - note to self, change the camera/view button to one that can't be accidentally touched on the wheel - so the fight back has started with a steady run through stage 2.

The competition is taking themselves out nicely.... excellent....
I mean oh no, I'm sorry volcano fell off a cliff and you ruined stage one.

Also I will eventually upload that replay, as I'm very proud of my rare stage win.

Official Rally Greece Report

Team ICH-Motorsport

"Dust and disaster"
High hopes where the order of the day as the team headed to Greece for the penultimate round of the championship season. Testing had shown some promising speed but also any laps of concentration would be severely punished.
As it happened SS1 proved this when midway through the stage a small technical problem hampered the drivers view of the road causing an off which cost around 12 seconds. SS2 and 3 went reasonable well and so the crew entered SS4 with renewed hope for a good finish. Approximately 3/4 of the way through the stage the car slid wide on a fast, down hill, left hander and became stuck on top of a barrier costing around 10 seconds.
The final two stages felt like they went well but we will just have to wait for the following drivers to post times to see if we can claw back the championship lead.

The rally of Greece very badly began for me... flat in the last sector of SS1 having struck a big stone. Small outing of road in SS2, arrived too fast in one 90 ° to the right. I am for the service to repair... The objective is not any more the top ten but just to end the rally... Furthermore I injured myself the right hand, very difficult to hold the controller... a rally to be forgotten for me... :(

How did you hurt your hand?

I found a really nice rhythm in Greece, never really pushing just going around at a sensible speed, the pace wasn't great but it was super clean (aside from a soft roll on Peresma Platini and a spin on Pedines Epidaxi) so the stage times felt really good, will hopefully be enough to score a podium. The toughest thing is the concentration you need, if you're distracted by the tiniest thing (even blinking! - it felt like I was going for 5 minutes at a time before I got the chance to do that at times) for even a nano-second you will be heading off the road.

@Eyeseeh50 just about beat me on the powerstage:

After 13 hours on the road, 1 hour relaxing and 6 stages in another league this is how I do... flat tyre and penalties... I almost totaled my car in turn 2 in S1 too

1st stage, 2nd sector, tapped the cliff face and slowly fell off the cliff only to lose my headlights.... so this is how this rally is going to go....

Decide to go easy, for this rally, just finish the stages you know. Nooooooooooo every tiny mistake pushes you off the cliff, and then you can't climb back up. I don't even want to finish this rally, 2nd stage 4 minutes behind.
