Am I the only one who uses chase view ? That where the car sounds sound the best ;).
Sometimes use roof to mix it up !

I sometimes use chase cam in practice mode when I'm just testing races out using the controller rather than wheel. Also in replay mode to hear the rear sounds (and rotate the view all around the car). The view is a great one for sound. However, I use helmet cam with full 100% movement. It's full immersion I'm after and I love it. Of course your view is often obscured (especially in closed cockpits) or a bit lower than other views so you don't see quite as much of the track ahead. However, you can't beat it for realism.

I notice you did an interior only room And. It's the reason I asked the question in the poll. I'd like us to run SOME events as interior view only. I don't want everyone to think we will do that exclusively as we won't. It can be difficult and take time to adapt to. CRAP is all about welcoming all levels of player and not be too restrictive. However I'd love to see us all try it as once you've got used to it I know so much is added to the experience, even when used on DS4. We won't overdo it but for some events it will be nice to use it to give people a chance to get used to it or give it a try.

Getting the field of view set roughly right for your viewing distance and size of screen definitely helps.

Having said all that I'm off to a festival on Thursday so will be out of action until at least Tuesday.

I always use helmet cam. I like the idea of doing interior view only races occasionally. It will level the playing field and create closer racing.

I have a question,i have done a few races naw and it seems i always start first,the lobby is set for no qualifing,only 5min warmup then race,wander if its random or something,doesent sem so...If i try 5min qualifing insted of 5min warmup mybe it will be more random grid

Nevermind 5min q works well

This club makes me race cars i wouldn't usually race which is awesome! :) Cant wait for the BMW TC one not tried it yet
 
Hey guys, feels like I've been away a while!

Had a very busy spell at work recently and some interesting social stuff cropping up as well, so I mustn't grumble.

To be honest with the last endurance race we did (with all the bugs) my attention was taken away from PCars regrettably. Happens more often than I'd like since I seem to get more than my fair share :lol: Destiny is cool and it doesn't break every time I play it so I've been spending some quality time on the moon :P

Looks like all the proposed races coming up aren't doable for me unfortunately either. Disappointing! They look like great events though, hope everyone has a good week :)

Week after next I'm away on holiday too, doesn't look like I'll be getting my racing fix for a while :( Maybe I'll hit the go-kart track when I start shaking! :D

Take it easy guys. Save me a grid spot for when I get back 👍
