I'm the same, I like to turn my mic off during races and if I do cause an accident I hold my hands up and say sorry at the end of the race.

I'm wondering if G29 will make PCars more enjoyable for myself, I used to play GT5/GT6 fairly seriously with a DFGT and then a G27 and had a good time, I have the money so that's not the issue, but for someone that runs with a wheel on pcars, Is the FFB good, does it feel right? Also if someone runs with a G29 specifically I'd like to know how it runs/feels

I had a DFGT and used the G27 a few times. All I can tell you is my opinion.

I got a Thrustmaster T300RS for Project Cars about 10 months ago (yes, somewhat early as it turned out) and it has been superb. £240 along with an upgrade to the pedals with the T3PA although the standard included pedals are still better than those on the DFGT. I also got a TH8A gear stick (shifter) which I love but it really isn't a necessity. The force feedback is as powerful as I could want and silky smooth. It's a much better wheel than either the DFGT or the G27.

Other info. The standard T300 pedals can be easily modified to include more braking resistance although I haven't bothered as I went for the better pedals at the same time I bought the wheel.

I should have gave it a miss too. I didnt have a lot of time to get tuning sorted. Race was a Disaster for me. Tried the z4. Was waaaaaaaaay too slow on the straights. Maybe due to the way I had the car set. Had the Bentley gaining rapidly on the straights. We had some nice close laps but I spun and hit a wall as I clipped the kerb, After a few laps realised i was losing even more time due to aero damage.Pitted in and my settings I set during practice did not save. After that I was so far behind i was going to watch from the pit then realised we cant. lol Was going wait till the end but it was so early in the race I left.

I am much the same as yourself. Played the GT series up to 6. While on5 and 6 I used the G27. Raced online and started to dabble with tuning. But it died last year. I now use the GTE T300 with upgraded shifter which I hardly ever use but it looks cool I kept the pedal. set for the GT27 as they are awsome. (adapter required) When i switched wheel I felt a big difference and thought it was a way better wheel kinda makes the GT27 look like a toy.( size of the wheel is better, Feel of the wheel is better. FFB is very strong although for P Cars you will have to set that for each car to get the proper feel for bumps on the road and loss of grip. Im still messing around with these. Had the game from launch.
The settings are in depth and tricky to use. But the usual forums and info are there. Should you get a wheel? Defo. Cant speak for any other wheel but the T300 is the best I have experienced. See you online when you are sorted out buddy?
