@JohnScoonsBeard I have ordered a stand from Pagnian. Next level racing stand. Sim racing say its more sturdy than some racing rigs they have tried. It Looks great, Solid. No movement from wheel or gear shifter attachments, And 5/5 tells me enough to get the cash out:tup: Do you have a wheel stand yourself bud?

Yes. I also have the Pagnian (Next Level Racing Stand). It's built like a tank. It can also convert to a full rig. Works best with a fairly low seat. I use a camping chair.

Saturday 10/3, 730pm BST/ 130pm East US, I am planning on a lobby racing the Old Ruf Yellowbird:

Tracks

Willow Springs- 12 Laps

Waltkins Glen- 12 Laps

Bugatti- 12 Laps

If anyone is still alive after we can do a rerun of the BMWs at Zolder or decide on something together. The wife will be out of town, its time to race non stop for a weekend!

Like a tank? lmao. Yeah it does look the biz. Looking forward to having my shifter back on the left. My last stand burst and had to switch it to the right. Stopped using it not long after that. lol I used my recliner couch before, Hope it works for the new set up. Failing that I need a camping chair.....With somewhere to fit a beer.:D I really need a man cave so I can get the conversion to full rig. Some butt kickers would be awesome too. haha

The only controversy will be whether people manage to drive correctly.:P Some people don't understand the rules. Just remember, 4 wheels off is not OK... even @ Zolder.

Could both of you please stop the snide remarks. Just leave it now. I don't care if any of it is intended as a joke. It's gone far enough. Come on people of CRAP it is not acceptable especially considering what I wrote the other night.

I won't have a bad atmosphere in any CRAP room. I'd rather cancel the event (and it's the first one I've been able to attend this month) than have a bad atmosphere in the room or in the group. We're a fairly small group in a relatively niche game that we play because we absolutely love pretending to be racing drivers. Don't risk alienating everyone else and destroying that.

Wipe the slate clean and start again. I've had people complaining about this. Please stop it, enjoy the race tomorrow which I hope you will both still attend. We're bigger than this.

Actually in tomorrow's race 4 wheels off is ok...... for everyone else. I had a quick 4 laps at Willow Springs and learnt this multiple times. Unforgiving track. Couldn't keep it on the island tonight. I also learnt tyre degredation may play it's part.

Absolutely @JohnScoonsBeard, although i haven't made any snide remarks to anyone, just my point of view, so i don't know why you have tagged me in your post. :confused:
 
i know tonight event starts at 2030, but how much practice and qualifying are you doing??

(I do not know if i will be on time,.... should be home at 2030, but then i still have to put my computer on and join you guys.....)

I didn't get enough time to test anything out. Definatly, enjoyed the track and interior view. I normally do hood or bumper. Tried the settings you posted on the speed view thread helped make the game look even better for me. Thanks!
