Here are just a "few" thoughts as I sit here cogitating.
NEW DLC
Regarding new dlc I think it might be wiser to make our CRAP Endurance races run on tried and tested equipment. People are prepared to put in quite a bit of time for these races and that might involve setting cars up properly not to mention taking part in the actual race. In theory they should be our most prestigious events. They deserve to be tested properly so the effort made by people has the best chance of being rewarded with a well behaved game and drivers used to the car. If we are always using new DLC tracks and cars we do run a higher risk of potential problems with both the game and drivers. We've found that with quite a few of our Endurance races already. I think it would be better that we design our endurance races around stuff we can test in advance. Maybe go with your original plans
@HammyMansell (or something totally different if you prefer). New DLC races are great but we tend to do that naturally as soon as the stuff comes out anyway.
ENDURANCE PLANNING
As a general guide, whoever wants to plan our Endurance races is welcome to as long as they are a known CRAP member. They don't even have to host the race but can still do all or some of the planning. Some people's connections are better suited to hosting than others so we can share responsibilities if need be.
DATES
We don't always have to have our Endurance races at the end of the month or even at the same time in the weekend. The person planning can decide when to run it in the month. Just avoid clashes with other CRAP organised events. Feel free to book them well in advance if you have an idea. We do need to make sure our regular series allow enough room for the Endurance race. I have no problem with what we have planned at the moment guys. Maybe as we design future CRAP series we could allow some space in them to allow for our enduros by leaving ocassional weekends free. We could even schedule a practice session and shorter races in the chosen Endurance car that same weekend. That would allow the people not able to take part in the endurance race itself to run some races along a similar theme while allowing the endurance runners time to get used to the car in an online environment against real people. We should also allow a gap in between CRAP race series, even if it's just a week or so to allow a bit of space for other one off events to use some of the prime time slots at the weekends (doesn't matter if it ends up being run by the same guys).
All of this isn't set in stone but just ideas on my part. I'm always happy to discuss other options.
I'll also paste this into the general CRAP PCARS thread.
Cheers
