I loved the car from lap 1 until the end and the track seemed to suit it well. Had sore arms and neck at the end of it though.

On a sidenote - I'm not the boss of enduros  nobody has to ask my permission for anything. I usually wait until the second week of the month to see if anyone has posted anything, if nobody has, I do.

i like hosting but enjoy participating equally.

@JohnScoonsBeard i've just had a thought, by the 28th of February the next DLC will be out, and as the cars that are due are not really known still, maybe i will not use the Formula C after all if there is a DLC car that looks more attractive.

Once the drips of information start appearing on the DLC thread (hopefully in the next day or 2) here i'l make a decision on the car, and track, and let you know for sure! 👍

Unlucky Sad Shooter, as you know i got the same thing after 34 laps of the Formula A race yesterday at Cataluyna, a real CRAP! :nervous:

I'm planning something "interesting" for the February Enduro CRAPpers..............All i'll say is it's long, and very pleasurable!!!:lol:

Yeah I hope you've brought your A game for the car track combo ;). Yeah I remember Hammy you were second as well :(, only seems to happen at the most enjoyable races hey, lol.

Here are just a "few" thoughts as I sit here cogitating.

NEW DLC
Regarding new dlc I think it might be wiser to make our CRAP Endurance races run on tried and tested equipment. People are prepared to put in quite a bit of time for these races and that might involve setting cars up properly not to mention taking part in the actual race. In theory they should be our most prestigious events. They deserve to be tested properly so the effort made by people has the best chance of being rewarded with a well behaved game and drivers used to the car. If we are always using new DLC tracks and cars we do run a higher risk of potential problems with both the game and drivers. We've found that with quite a few of our Endurance races already. I think it would be better that we design our endurance races around stuff we can test in advance. Maybe go with your original plans @HammyMansell (or something totally different if you prefer). New DLC races are great but we tend to do that naturally as soon as the stuff comes out anyway.

ENDURANCE PLANNING
As a general guide, whoever wants to plan our Endurance races is welcome to as long as they are a known CRAP member. They don't even have to host the race but can still do all or some of the planning. Some people's connections are better suited to hosting than others so we can share responsibilities if need be.

DATES
We don't always have to have our Endurance races at the end of the month or even at the same time in the weekend. The person planning can decide when to run it in the month. Just avoid clashes with other CRAP organised events. Feel free to book them well in advance if you have an idea. We do need to make sure our regular series allow enough room for the Endurance race. I have no problem with what we have planned at the moment guys. Maybe as we design future CRAP series we could allow some space in them to allow for our enduros by leaving ocassional weekends free. We could even schedule a practice session and shorter races in the chosen Endurance car that same weekend. That would allow the people not able to take part in the endurance race itself to run some races along a similar theme while allowing the endurance runners time to get used to the car in an online environment against real people. We should also allow a gap in between CRAP race series, even if it's just a week or so to allow a bit of space for other one off events to use some of the prime time slots at the weekends (doesn't matter if it ends up being run by the same guys).

All of this isn't set in stone but just ideas on my part. I'm always happy to discuss other options.

I'll also paste this into the general CRAP PCARS thread.

Cheers

Cool JSB, to confirm it will be Formula C at LeMans Le Sarthe (The 24hr race layout):

Car: formula C

Track :LeMans 24hr layout

Qualy: 15 mins
Race time: 90mins
Aids: Real
Weather: Mixed, but dry, maybe lol!

Also @JohnScoonsBeard , if we could change the day to the 26th February 2016? As we already have the long Formula A race on Sunday the 28th, and the newly found "Funday Sunday" too, therefore i think that Friday the 26th will be better. Race time will be 8:30pm GMT.

Anyone that is interested, let me know please, thanks.

What is Funday Sunday? Can't find any info on the CRAP pages.

It's @Football67611 unofficial but totally legit Sunday racing ;). Ever since December @Football67611 has taken dibs on Sunday racing. Now recently with the twist of everyone picks car/track combo, everyone gets something ;).

Haha ok Fernando O'alonso! ;) You're in, nice one!

Ah OK, I'm not in the cliqué so missed that 1.

No need to be narky spooky I hadn't realised that either and I try and read everything I have time to. He's just been organising something when nothing else is on and announcing on here. I don't think football would consider it his slot. No one has a slot that's their own. We just try to organise something for everyone to take part in as often as we can. We wouldn't have the group if we didn't have such great contributers (yourself included).

you're right, maybe more sleep and less alcohol will provide clarity

Me too. My wife's bad influence......hic. I'll sort out tomorrow's race and call it a night. Been wasting time (but having fun) trying to drift the Radbull. Will post video showing my "learning journey" and extremely marginal success.

I should have chosen better wording.

I honestly didn't know Funcar Sunday was a permanent fixture. That's fine, but with Dan's series every Saturday, the FA's on every Sunday tea time, that doesn't leave a lot for people that only really get time to play on a weekend.

I'm not knocking any of those events, I've enjoyed racing in all 3.

I do definitely want to race in this months enduro though. :)

I'll add you then Spooky ok?

Btw, you are always welcome to race with us, as we are not a "cliqué", we just have fun racing together most nights, including Sundays. But as you say, you misworded what you wanted to say.

Therefore, you can join in whenever you want, and that goes for joining a Party chat whenever too!

You're in the enduro! 👍

My wish for February is that Sony introduce 16 player party chat. It would be so much easier for us all. It would also be useful if we could see a header of messages from PSN pop up in front of the game like on PS3. That way you could put a short message in the title and almost guarantee it would be seen fairly quickly.

Well it's more, if nothings on then someone will say oh I'll host this nothing malicious spooky ;). @Football67611 tended to pick Sundays when the enduro wasn't on then recently it became everyone gets a car/track combo instead of him picking stuff and people complaining. If you have a look in BMW thread I mentioned this 3 championships during weekend situation, Fridays are free usually depending on if someone plans an event that day or not. No clique just the way the routine became.

@JohnScoonsBeard the Ps3 idea with title was soo genius, antiquated but genius 1 word without opening a message saves alot of time!

Sunday Funday is just what we do on Sunday when nothing else is going on. I am not trying to takeover every Sunday.

In fairness I never meant to seem like I said you did, as I explained above you always seemed to pick something on Sundays, @admoo likes Fridays, @HammyMansell usually has something planned for Wednesdays and of course @Zakspeed_TV event is Thursdays it's just the way it lands with free time and hosting etc.....

Sorry guys, i have not been recieving notifications for this thread, as with others here in GTP too.

@Bonio71 @Bjorn Lucas "allstyles" @Football67611 @Eyeseeh50 "ICH" and @knukken you're all added!! :)

One thing guys, i'm a bit concerned about running this enduro atm, due to the disconnect problems, I wouldn't want any of you to be 80 minutes into the race for example, only to get dc'ed! :(

We can still go ahead, and just see what happens.........I'm praying that an update for PSN appears this week to fix all this CRAP!

@knukken, i find lowering the ride height, and stiffening up the springs helps with the Formula C car.

Ignore, I'm getting ahead of myself. Breakdown in the space time continuum.
