Right guys, it's sad to say but I think we are going to have to put a stop to these races until the problems have gone. It has taken 3 weeks to do 1 half of a weekend and the time and effort wasted is too much.

Ace is still going to attempt to run the races over the next few weeks but it won't count for points. There are some great tracks coming up but due to the issues it is unfair to award points. I'd it doesn't hold out we will just launch into some short fun races so it isn't too long to wait for a new invite.

We are hoping by the time this ends the issues have been sorted and we can launch straight in to the Radical/Aston LMP series which should be amazing.

Let me know your interest in the next series and I'll start to put the tracks together. It's a shame this has happened but for everyone's sanity I think it has to be done.

Cheers guys

Sad but probably the only thing that could be done due to the issues with the network.

With the disconnects I doubt this will happen. I wouldn't worry esme, if it's working we will select a track. There have been a lot of disconnects reported, I can't get on and @ty2 isnt going to make it.

So guys, it was pretty much decided that the series would be the Radical and Aston LMP1 but then the Indy car came along. When driving it there wasn't one person who disliked it so we thought we would put up one final vote to see if people would prefer the Formula C and Indy car over the Radical and Aston LMP.

Stick your votes in and the winner we will run with.

Also I have added in a day of the week in which you would like the races to run on. We can still start at 8pm GMT and finish by 10pm GMT. This will only be an option if the weekend disconnects continue. I think we would like to pick this back up in a few weeks so if the disconnects at the weekend are still happening, we will go with what was voted in.

Cheers guys!

Hi guys,

head over to the BMW 320TC series page and put your votes in. Once they are complete we will get everyone's interest!

Cheers!

Get your votes in guys.

Also put a post up confirming you want to join the series.. then we can put together a new list of drivers.

Cheeers all

With most the votes in, its looking like its going to be a fc/indy car series!

To clarify the format,
There will still be 2 races, a short 10-15 min sprint race in the Fc. With the feature race (about 30 mins) in the indycar. The 2 races will be held on the same track.

We are undecided about what practice / qually we should do, so your suggestions would be appreciated :)
Cheers guys

How about a slightly longer race than 30 minutes in the Indy car?

Formula B - Quali 5 mins
15 minutes race 5

Indycar

Qualification? Just long enough to get a lap in but not a lot more. That can mix the grid up a bit. Decision to make - do you really go for it or get a safe lap in?

Practice 5 mins for setup
Quali 5 mins for 1-2 max hotlaps

I like the idea of a 5 minute qualifying for the sprint race.

I am unsure about making it longer because it may happen during the week if disconnects don't sort out. A lot of the time people are off by 10pm and we want to attract as many people as we can but it is open for discussion!

i like the race only 30 minutes,....

practice and qualy 5 minute i like

and esmee telling what track 10 minutes before practice :dopey:

( i am not good at tuning and you can tune the heck out of that indycar )
That won't change, we will still keep the tracks a surprise and any tunes will be published!

Got your back stylessss

Yeah, maybe for that 5 min sprint qualy, each of us has only 1 hot lap available to do, that way more tense, more pressure, and more varied grids race to race, as we'll all make mistakes on that one lap more often than not! 👍

Guys I have added Saturday and Sunday to the poll. Remember that part of the reason we are asking is because of the issues we have had at weekends but if people want to keep trying then we are happy to do so. Personally if it's the weekend then i think Sunday as it was a lot more stable.
