I agree with @Spooky Wooky , when I first started I tried way too hard and would end up bumping or going off. You will start to learn to be patient and most of the time just not messing up will get you near the top.

Try to keep to one movement when defending guys, swerving like that and blocking someone so they have to brake on the straight to not hit you whilst over taking you isn't cool. The BTCC normally use the National circuit. If you use that one it will need more than double the laps.
