With the hint from
@IanBell of an exciting announcement from SMS due shortly, I thought it was worth reviving this thread just in case the announcement is about a 2nd Season Pass for Project Cars 2 (which is what I dearly hope). To that end I'm sitting in my favourite café sipping a coffee, thinking about cars and tracks.
One of the things I enjoy about Project Cars is that the cars appear to have been chosen with thought and care - I'm trying to repeat that with my selections so that they fit with and build the game in the most enjoyable way. NB I have only picked cars from manufacturers which are already in the game.

Track 1 = Oakes Field, Nassau 4.5 miles - home of the season ending Speed Weeks for sports cars and whisper it - a much better airfield track than Sebring and much easier to get!
Track 2 = Dundrod 7.4 miles - formerly part of the WSCC and non-championship F1 (Ulster GP), a public road circuit in Northern Ireland - like a cross between Bannochbrae and Historic Spa (still used for motorcycle races, but madder than the TT as the bikes set off at once instead of at intervals). Easy to scan - just eliminate the current road markings for a period feel.
Immediately below C1 Corvette - 1960 Le Mans 8th overall and 1st in class. In the main shot Corvettes 1, 2, 3 (Cunningham Team) and 4 (Camoradi Team) battle a Ferrari 250 TR (car 11), 250 GT (car 16), Jaguar D Type (car 6) and Aston Martin DBR1/300 (car 8) - SMS could repeat this in game!
Middle picture collection - Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sports - only 5 were built, 3 coupes and 2 roadsters. An ultra light race only vehicle and major threat, the 427 Cobra was conceived to counter them. Raced by Mecom Team, Penske and George Wintersteen.
Above - Corvette number 12 - the winningest in SCCA history with 22 consecutive victories. Other C3 L88 Corvettes at Le Mans including Scuderia Filipinetti cars.
